I've wondered myself if it was supposed to be a part 4 version. SS does do that from time to time. For example, their original Freddy figure technically was more accurate to the part 2 look then 1 having the red eyes and all that. However it is confusing because with Myers they included the bed sheet that he wore in the original Halloween....sooo not sure what their real attempt was.

I think they started out as an "all encompassing" version (hence the confusing accessories), and then based on the popularity, expanded from there. I think that's why we got a Freddy's Revenge Krueger and why his, and the Pt. 3 Jason's boxes were non-specific to a movie whereas latter releases were.

There's also the possibility it could've been a matter of, "We need you to make a Myers, but don't use Shatner's likeness. We have it with Star Trek and since they never got it for Halloween, that could complicate things."

With SSC announcement of Snake Plissken I hope that someday soon they return to good old Mikey (1978) and do him justice.

What exactly is the Shatner issue. Does he demand a cut from H1 sales because of his likeness?

The issue wasn't with Shatner directly (who I believe didn't know and when he found out, was honored), if memory serves, it was with the company that made the original Star Trek mask. Though, in all fairness, with all the $$$ made from Halloween, the sequels and the buttload of merchandise, Shatner, himself, should get a piece of it.

Yeah I thought I read in the past that he was honoured but I was guessing that he wanted some sort of royalty check due to the money he would get form Halloween sales and you couldn't really blame him.

To be honest I was thinking to myself I have never heard any rumblings about it in the past (DVDs etc.) so now you have stated that it was the makers of the ST mask I now understand.

Yeah he is due some sort of payment I would agree on that point.

What coveralls did you get for this

Red Cap. Coveralls.

They are weathered and dirtied. Got some cardboard in the collar to keep it up. And bullet holes.

I spent about 3 months just finding the right pieces and getting all the modding and paint done.

Here he is all finished up...

-Headsculpt by Madbug
-Hands are from Hot Toys DX11 Joker(left) & Enterbay Chen Zhen(right)
-Original coveralls are from the Art Figure Seal Team VI figure
All painting, weathering and modifying done completely by me. The pumpkin and knife are also done by me completely from scratch, and the knife is real metal.

Oh yeah, dont pick up hitchhikers.

Well done mate. Myers is looking ace and is one of the best Myers I have seen. Man I'm jealous but it is great to see your labour of love coming to life.

And just in time for Halloween too.
