Man, the color of his overall are a thing of debate isn't it? I've heard dozens of people say dark blue, I've head charcoal gray but I heard that spruce green is the actual color. WTF.

. Just pop in the blu ray and see for yourselves. Clear as day. Pause when the little kid runs into Myers outside the school.

Spruce green is the color for sure. However I don't blame people who go the darker green or blue look since that does represent how he appears in the night scenes for most of the movie.

Like, I believe it when you tell me it's green but my mind won't allow it. Ive thought his overalls were dark blue for years. I have a hard time with colors anyway so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Its funny cause I've watched this movie soo many freaking times, been a tradition since I was young to watch this when its close to halloween season and I've always thought his overalls were blue also.
Papito is correct, his overalls are actually green. I wanted to make sure when I was working on dyeing my overalls and so I was pausing it on bluray at the beginning when it was day time and lo and behold, to my surprise, they were actually green.

But what stands out to everyone's memory is the long nightime shot ending. John Carpenter talks about adding a blue filter at the commentary which I believed he got from another movie and he saw how it added a creepy melancholy setting or something. Its been awhile since I've watched the commentary so I forgot all the details but the true color is green.
But, you cant go wrong also by coloring it blue since it is clearly blue at the ending because of the filter.

I dont remember what I did with mine, I either dyed it green then heavily dry brushed it with blue, or...hmmm...I think I dyed it blue, then dry brushed it with green, then went back and dry brushed it with blue since I vaguely remembered it looked too green.
I'm almost positive its the latter which turned out great cause mine looks blue, but in-hand, when you look closely, it has hint of green in it.

Yeah, I have a black pair of overalls and don't know what to do with them. Should I bleach them first. I tried bleaching them with diluted water and made no difference whatsoever! I couldn't believe it.

Anybody know where I can find a copy of the John Carpenter & Dean Cundey approved Halloween DVD transfer. It's said to have the accurate film color transfer that Dean Cundey and Carpenter intended for the film. Heard these are very hard to find.

?? Never heard of this version. Would like to see this version as well. Also did anyone else get the Shout Factory release of Halloween 2? I picked up the blu ray 2 disc version, which I must say is way better than last year's Universal's 30th anniversary release. From Sleeve cover to the dual, reversible case sleeve covers to the graphics on the discs themselves. It came with a DVD copy of the TV version of Halloween 2 and holy hell, that version got me lost. This thing is everywhere with the re-editing.
