Just found out there are unlockable ghillie suits for the snipers that are different for each map. that is sick! guess i'll be playing sniper for the next week.

I'm kitbashing mine from various parts, i couldn't find a fleece like that anywhere, so for now he's just got an FCS testing team uniform.

I've got his rig radio/headset and guns, along with pistol holster and tidbits. I'm waiting for the body and uniform to come in and put him all together. I'm mish mashing a bit, but he had a bit of mishmashes in the game and alot of different looks but i'm getting the basic idea down with what i could find.

I'd really like to see a Soap figure from the Gulag level, Price from Just Like Old Times and Ghost.

Btw, I found out that Oxmox company made a Ghost statue.

After two weeks, I can comfortably say that I'm doing much better at Modern Warfare 2 than the original, and the new maps, perks, accolades, etc. etc. make the multiplayer experience much more enjoyable. It does have a more arcade-feel as opposed to the more realistic feel of Modern Warfare, but it's my favorite of the two.

As for my custom class layout, my strengths seem to be longshots (only with red dot...can't get used to scopes) and catching enemies trying to take cover, so I have my "character" oriented toward maximum bullet penetration:

FAMAS w/ red-dot sight and full metal jacket
AT4-HS launcher (because someone's got to take out the air support!)
Semtex (but I'm thinking about switching back to frags)

Bling Pro (for the two attachments)
Stopping Power Pro (again for the bullet penetration orientation)
Ninja Pro

Martyrdom


In a few levels, I'll be unlocking the M16A4, which was my weapon of choice in Modern Warfare. I have better success with 3-round burst assault rifles. Since the damage is better on that gun, I'll eventually replace Stopping Power with Cold-Blooded, but I'll have to unlock red dot and FMJ on the M16A4 first.

And Martyrdom is useless, so it'll be Final Stand as soon as I unlock it!

Here's my kitbashed Ghost:

Body w/boots,hands,head is hot toys special forces sniper. Then soldier story fcs testing team uniform, both came from toy anxiety. The rig was a set that came with the headset/radio and sunglasses (different pair that broke on me) that i got from goodstufftogo along with the pistol/holster setup, the Scar also came from them. Lastly the baklava came from monkey depot.

He's not exact to any of his looks in the game, he's just kind of a basic generalization of his look, just kinda working with what i was able to find.

you talking about the camo on the guns? So far I have the blue tiger strip which is prob the one Im gonna be keeping.

No he means actual ghillie suits for your character. Getting so many one shot kills counts towards the Ghillie in the Mist challenge, each level giving you a ghillie suit for a specific environment. Artic, Urban, Desert.

I'm working towards desert now, bout 80 more to go.

nope not the cammo on the guns. For snipers every 50 One-shot kills (i think) you unlock actual ghillie suits for snow, urban, and desert maps. each suit looks different depending on the map. it helps you to blend into the environment A LOT better than the standard team uniform. check out the youtube vid

I just got blue tiger cammo for the SCAR, it is pretty sick, but i cant wait for the red one.

dif balaclavas, load bering vest, camo ETC....

Finally got that friggin soap emblem. Took me a bit. I had so many close ones I was getting frustrated. Luckily I got sniped on Derail and the sniper was still where he killed me, camped out. I snuck up on him and stuck him while he was oblivious to what was going on. Awesome.
