I just got Modern Warfare 2, and loaded it up the first time today. I believe that I'm the only person who actually skipped the airport scene .

X-BOX is were it's happen, man!! Do you want to play on lame ass ps3, or have the opportunity of a life time and play with US, THE BROTHERHOOD, and get pwnd by everyone besides me. It's a no brainer!!

Have to say been having a blast playing this one. One of the better games I've played in a long time. Last night there was that one jerk off on rust that would not shut up. I don't get folks like that.

You can mute them...easily.

Had a 24-0 match today but my kills stat says 23

Good job man. I went 17-0 the other day, but my best is 19 without dying. I just can't seem to break the 20 mark.

Anyone high enough to unlock the AK and M16 should have some semblance of skill. It might be one of those personal challenges for a player to best his opponents using a weapon inferior to them.

I didn't think of it like that. Good point. It was just weird to me to have these awesome weapons only to unlock turds towards the end. I still rocked the AK though, but I'd always end up using the ACR or M4 during the match.

I've been having a horrendous streak for the past several days (4-16, 0-9, 8-18, etc.). But somehow last night, the stars and planets must've aligned during Ground War Team Deathmatch on Wasteland.

41-7!!!!

That's definitely a personal best for me. Not only did I manage to get several small killstreaks by cutting down enemies holed up in the crossroads underground, but my care packages yielded Pave-Low, Harrier Strike, Attack Chopper, and Predator (which I used for a game-winning double-kill) and those took out at least 20 of the 47.

By the end of the match, I completed 18000 XP in challenges and ended up with a total 27000 XP!

My friend with whom I'd partied up with had the second highest number of kills, and that was only 17. We were on private chat, so I couldn't hear the other players. But I imagine quite a few assumed I was glitching.

Patience is all it takes. I usually suck at sniping but on this game I am starting to hold my own with it. Also you have to realize that on a couple of maps a sniper is not going to be the best class to play. Another rule of thumb I go by is after I kill someone I move to another spot and hide again . Just take your time and you will get the hang of it.

i think cold blooded and stopping power are both perk 2 so u can only use one at once.

Intervention is a top rifle, really like it. stopping power + FMJ is a great combo

Ooops. You're right. FMJ gets the job done!!! I'm close to getting the Ghillie in the Mist challenge done. Only another 30 or so 1 shot kills and its mine.

Guys, what advice can you give to a noob? Well, I'm not actually a n00b, since I had the first MW since launch, but I play like one because I haven't been online that much . I'm looking to change things with MW2, but I feel kinda intimidated by all the awesome players out there.

That's the thing, don't be intimidated!

It's kind of like driving, if you have the attitude that you're the best driver on the road and everyone else is the worst driver imagineable, it's better

Just have fun with it and don't expect to be awesome every match

I'm not the greatest, but I sometimes have a good evening where I am top of my team for a few matches with around 30 kills to 5 deaths now. It feels good that i'm not always finishing with 30 deaths and 3 kills which was how I started off. It's taken me from release day to this week to get to a point that I can on a good night feel usefull to a team and not be thier downfall.

I would say my average though is more like 15 kills to 10 deaths as I suck at putting a good streak together to bring in the big guns.

You're looking to go from level 4 to 25 in a night? Do you level up faster after you prestige, or are you just insane?
