The tattoo came out well. How did you do the blue? Is that from a color laser or is that after print?

Also, a question--for those folks who 'dirty up' the figure's clothes... How do you do that? I'm reluctant to take mine out back and rub them in the dirt. LOL Thanks, Rande

I use acrylic paint. I find if you wet the clothes at first and use watered down paint it works well since it saturates the clothes better. Once that dries I go back and dry brush certain areas. And I use the old 'toothbrush flick' method for some splatter at the bottom of pant legs and stuff.

I have a color laser. The tattoo actually looks better on the figure than it looks in that pic. The pic is larger than life so the tattoo looks kind of grainy. Actual size it looks pretty cool.

Thanks, Beeshaw. That's cool, so you just use brown acrylic paint? I like the toothbrush splatter idea. Thanks, Rande

Yup. 2 or 3 shades of brown normally. It seemed to rain a lot on the Island so I figured it would be pretty muddy. ;) There are also weathering kits you can buy that look like little make up kits. I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet, but now that I've reminded myself about them I might have to since I'm a little behind on my weathering...

Apologies for the crap cell pic. But I wanted to share and don't have time for a full on photo shoot tonite! :rock

Big thanks to Nek74 for the awesome sculpt, GDB for the stellar paint apps and YoNose for tatting up the arm!

Thanks guys! Hopefully tomorrow I'll have some time to take some pics. (Charlie's keeping me busy!!) :)

And yeah AA. That"s the Aragon shirt I dyed. Turned out okay I think. I tucked the sleeves in and I plan on gluing the collar points down to better mimic the shirt I'm trying to emulate.

FANTASTIC, beeshaw!:clap:clap:clap

Nice! I love the clothing choices! Really makes the figures.

Thanks guys!

Those tanks on Kate were made by Chad for me (SithLordMcGuyver).

I still have some weathering to do. Instead of doing them one by one I've been waiting to get everything together. So, I just got my body for Sayid and the outfit's waiting at home and that's the last piece for a bit I'd imagine... :stick

I'm hoping to have some time over the weekend to devote to these guys. No promises though. This child raising is a little involving. (and I'm loving every second of it).
