Listen I too am guilty of having purchased this @ a higher rate, but not @a painful one. I am SOOO stoked looks like an ALL-TIMER pf IMHO and well worth the doe-rae-me spent!

I finally found a great display that I think is the real reason behind the Premium Format's pose and expression!

I still have a 5 day wait for mine to arrive. :monkey2

Hey guys, here are some of the best shots I could get of the damage. Its very hard to photograph. But you can see it mostly in the area with the numbers as at least one full number was scratched away. I've emailed Sideshow to see what my options are. I'm nervous in exchanging him in case they run out or I get a different number that I don't like (I like #25 but if I had a choice in numbering that might not be so bad).

The thing that bothers me the most about it is that it happened in a place of extreme detail (numbering), in a foucus point (the outstreched hand), and it can't even be covered up with the shirt being pulled down (it just wants to rest right in front of it). Yeah its a very minor problem, but still, on a such a sought after and limited piece like this it sucks to not have a perfectly mint one right out of the box. :(

Well, I agree that is a problem, and once you've noticed it, you will never forget that the rub is there. Hard to believe all of the hands were protected in the packaging except for this one. But fear not, every replacement I have had was given the same edition number that I originally received. Hope everything works out and SS can meet your needs.

Yeah, once you know about it, it drives you nuts no matter how small it is. Especially since it is on writing. I noticed it when I first opened him, but I just thought it was an area without blood. Then I saw the pic from P1 and gave mine another look. And sure enough it was paint rubs. And yeah, you'd think with the care the other two hands were given they would have padded this one too. I'm betting I won't be the only one with this problem.

By the way, does the regular's hand detach too, or just the exclusive? If I can just get the actual figure replaced and nothing else I'd be totally happy. But yeah, a mint random number is definately better than a near-mint 25.

And when I had to get a replacement Han in Carbonite last month for a paint scratch right on the front of his shirt (not the bust of luck huh?) I didn't get the same number back. I didn't really care as both were just random numbers. Nothing memorable like 25 is. But that one HAD to go back. It was a small white mark. Totally visable from 5 feet away at my computer desk. It was small but the contrast made it look far worse.

Damn Marc, That was a dumb move.:duh Who needs a car anyway...

I kind of expected some of the waitlisters to have had their orders convert by now...I'm #13 down the list but it's not looking so good. :monkey2

If I end up purchasing from a fellow freak I hope they are of the highest caliber on this forum. Shouldn't be too hard as most everyone here seem really cool!

Nope. It looks like none of the exclusive wait lister freaks will be converting now. But after realizing that, and after seeing all the great pics, and accepting the fact that I'll never be able to afford the premium price that the exclusive is going for on eBay, I decided to put myself back on the wait list for the regular on Thursday.

Yesterday it converted. :D

Hey, BM. I can't tell for sure, but my wristband looked similar to yours. When I looked at it closely, it looked like it was styrofoam that was stuck to the band. When I moistened it and gently scraped it with my fingernail, the styrofoam came off and my wristband is as it should be.

Unfortunately it is definately scratched off. I've tried scratching at to see if it was just styrofoam (same thing with my Han in Carbonite) but no such luck. I swear all of my 12" figures come in just fine, but everything polystone arrives scratched :banghead

Sorry to hear that, man. I still can't believe how PZ was shipped with his arm unprotected.
