Yeah a shame really,this is without a doubt the PF of the year,a perfect presentation of Rocketeer so i don`t think the problem is the PF,it`s the lack of interest in the Character.

Which I don't understand...it's such a fantastic adventure film, and the character design is so unique, interesting and, in my opinion, plain awesome Oh well...I'm just glad this PF got made. Between this PF and my 1/6 V2 Medi Rocketeer, that's 2 more awesome, high quality collectibles than I thought I would ever get to own from the film.

Id almost sell my Medi rocketeer 2.5 to help fund this guy ..trying to keep my 1/6ers just as hot toys ..not mad into pfs ..but if i were to ever get one it would be this guy ..anyone know a good place to get pfs if your within uk/ireland area.

Unfortunately, there is a ton of SS products shipping right now which is why a lot of people (myself included) are canceling. It doesn't help that it is quite expensive although looks very nice.

It's a shame alright. This piece is indeed a perfect representation of the character.

I completely agree with what MarfMaster said...

...it's such a fantastic adventure film, and the character design is so unique, interesting and, in my opinion, plain awesome

I'll be getting my Rocketeer PF and it will be proudly displayed.

I don't see it still being for sale as a bad thing to be honest. I'm interested in the PF, but can't spend the money on it right now. If the exclusive is still available three months down the road, then I can order it with ease for retail price and not have to worry all the time of something selling out.

Can't wait to see pics!

I am glad the flippers are staying away from this one. I guess with lack of demand they have to. I think once people start getting this in hand though that the demand might go up.

Darth Snoopy...I'm a big fan of Open Range! Love that final confrontation scene when Costner walks up to the hired gunman in the arm sling...classic! Hope they release it on blu-ray soon.

Back to the Rocketeer, money is tight but I am also holding on to my exclusive. Even bought the new Rocketeer hardcover from IDW that reprints the strip in the original size of the Dave Stevens originals.

So I remember reading charges begin today, what does that mean for shipping? I have yet to order anything through SS so I'm not totally sure of their process, but CSC said they haven't received any word on it yet and were thinking the end of the month.
