I received mine today
And the jet pack is all mest up!
2 fingerprints in the paint and a lot of paint flauws on the jetpack
also some bad paint on the base
I think i'm going to have to repaint the jetpack
anybody else have these problems?

Mine was perfect.
You should really contact SSC and see if you can get a replacement.

That's the problem
i bought it in a local store. here's a pic
you can see it on the righthand side of the jetpack
also the paintjob on the base could be much better.

YEa karamaziv is right. I also believe when you contact sideshow you can mark that you bought it from a retailer and not directly from sideshow. You should still be able to get it replaced or return it to your dealer.

Why would you buy it from a store if you were able to see the problems it had (assuming of course it was on display)?

Even if you bought it in a store. you should be able to request an exchange - or if exchange is not possible, a full refund.
That is, if you couldn't see the defect before you bought it.

Gotta say, this piece is impressive in person. I loved the movie, but didn't really care to add this to my collection... After seeing it made me think twice

I remember going to Disneyland when I was a kid and seeing the popcorn machine that had a little rocketeer figurine "turning" the gears. I wanted that little figure so bad! When when I got the Medicom v2 I was blown away, it was like a childhood dream come true! But even that figure is eclipsed now in the shadow of this PF's awesomeness.

I love this figure, but the one area that really bugs me is when your looking at the figure head on, he tilts to far to the right.. it almost looks like he's going to fall over forward.. I see that on mine and it looks like it's on all others too.... The figure needed to tilt more to the left on the base... other than that awesome figure IMO...

My Exclusive arrived today!

The package was typical of all PF's. The heads are wrapped individually as welll as the base and the body.
The head sculpt looks very good and the paint application looks great. My complaint is the same as others, the head looks to big for the body. My guess is that the hair adds to the effect.
The helmet head is Fantastic! It may not be 'perfect' to the critical masses but to me it is as I just said, FANTASTIC. I also like how it was weathered and that when you look up into the helmet you can see that there is a sculped face in there.
I agree with the others who have this statue. From some angles you can see that it looks like it leans forward. To me it looks like he is about to take off or has just landed. A great action pose none the less.
The outfit is very well done and it took very little effort to get it just right.
The rocket pack is where it is at. This is what makes the statue. It is Excelllent in detail and paint. The jet pack went right on the figure with no problems what so ever. It was a bit hard to remove from the packge so be carefull. The bubble gum is a very nice touch. Not over done thankfully. The pack does have some weight to it as it is solid resin.
I am very happy to have this wonderful PF added to my collection.
The attached photo (no flash) shows it along side of my also newly received Jack Sparrow Exlusive PF.
