I was checking out a standard Captain Action doll the other day at TRU. It's a nice figure itself and the price isn't unreasonable. Wonder if we have to use a Captain Action doll to utilize the costume or if we can use any 12" comparable body. Guess we'll fine out when an actual picture of the product shows up.

Good Rocketeer day for me. Got a t-shirt and patch from the D23 event in the mail. Not easy to track down this stuff. The 20th Ann. pin still evades me.

Working on locking that deal up. :hi5:

Thanks for the heads up. I've been avoiding the FS section, because I don't want to be "inspired" to spend money. But the PF is one thing I've had on my to-do list for a while. The others are a few 1:1 props from the RPF, but those will be coming in slowly but surely.

Yeah when I see a good deal on the PF I try to give a shout out to my fellow Finheads.

Major items off my wishlist! Today my ACME Rocketeer helmet arrived from finishing. I bought a kit some time ago, and sent it off to be primed, painted, and fitted with lenses and helmet liner. It looks amazing! I'm gonna build a stand for it next. I'll post pics a bit later.

My next Rocketeer splurge will be picking up a finished "budget" helmet from RPF. MR's was always too expensive, and I'm too useless to do, well, anything kit-related.

Ok, and finally some pics of my ACME Rocketeer helmet.

Thanks everyone! The helmet is an ACME kit from Monsters in Motion. See link below. It's solid, and I had a guy on the RPF, finished it. Another member on there also offers a helmet liner w/ leather chin strap which I also bought and had installed when it was finished. I'm gonna build a helmet stand for it next.

That kit looks sweet! Thanks for the link, Jay! :duff
