So are you guys playing any of the side games like the homerun and events? Some of those are fun, but others are brutal.

I tried the cruel brawl a couple of times and only surved it for about 25 seconds on my best attempt

Yeah I haven't gotten very far in cruel brawl either. it's insane!

I've actually been going through Event mode recently, I think I'm up to event #33. Very fun.

Crimeny... I was hoping the events would end at #20 Guess I still have a ways to go.

Whats your best distance on homerun... I've gotten 1500 with Ganondorf. He's the only one I could do the most damage with before the time runs out.

I've also gotten my longest distance with Ganondorf. 2000. I read a tip on some other forum and tried it. I also found a video on it .... found it, here it is:

I did the same thing and got around 2000. apparently some people have gotten up to 4000 using the same trick. :O

that blows my top score out of the water. I only got 835 with link, just stood there for the time, and started my power swing and hit it....didnt even think about beating his butt before getting in the final swing.

So is he just throwing the bat at the bag repeatedly? I was just using the powered B hit... I'll have to give that new one a try.

Event 33? I beat 1-20 on normal and haven't gotten any more. Maybe I have to beat them all on hard?

Still haven't played through the single player mode yet, so that might do it

I've beat all but 3 of them on hard on 1-20... then the others on regular. I guess I need to go and complete on hard... not looking forward to it on those

I've seen that done in Melee with Captain Falcon. I saw it on YouTube.

It's tricky because it's throwing the bat and doing your Down+A Smash Attack...but it racks up the damage enough to launch it.

Why, oh why, can't nintendo add some sort of alert to let me know when friends are online during a match?

Too many times I've heard "Why didn't you join the room I started? It said you were online."

And why no online records kept other than number of games played? For all the other stats the game tracks, you'd think online wins/losses would be fairly simple.

Oh well, the game still rocks, you just have to be a little more organized to start a match due the stupid friends system.

Yeah, it would be nice if a little bubble or something could pop up to let you know others are looking for a match. You really have to be on the ball to get it started... but luckily once a room is going it seems to pick up people fairly easy like we did the first night.

I haven't been able to play because I've had grade due this week but we're heading on Spring Break Friday so I'm planning on killing a couple of sets of batteries very soon!!!

I don't have Jigglypuff or the 2nd Link... I think I have the rest though.

I'm still working on SSE... its kinda boring so I don't put a lot of time into it. But seems like there are a lot of things you can do afterwards once its completed.

I'm on almost every night (usually between 8:30 and 10:00 ct(it varies day to day). The problem, as I have moaned about in the past, is that when somebody is in a match, they have no way of knowing if one of their friends is online other than quitting out of the match and looking at their friends list.

I beat the 100 man brawl last night and what a pain in the ass it was. I got down to 2 once and 1 twice :emperor

Very satisfying feeling to finally beat it and then unlock Falco

100 man brawl is a pain in the ass... I've only beaten it once and feel satisfied

Well, I finally got everyone unlocked tonight... now there's all-star mode Its the game that never ends?!?
