I understand but if you can pick one up at an EB or Gamestop it's worth it. Seriously an awesome controller.

I finally was able to get a few matches against anyone going... seems like its not the best set-up yet. Or just not enough people?

Anyway, pretty damn fun game... although one time when I was playing against others the game froze for about 15 seconds.

Hey guys, I was just wondering what controller you guys use to play? I was thinking of using the Gamecube ones again.

I was able to get it to work last night finally and fought about 9 matches against various people from 2 to 4....it takes a long time to catch someone and I don't like having to go through training every time someone adds but overall it was fun. Haven't figured out the "Friends" aspect of it yet though.

BTW, I'm using the Wii controllers, I tried the GC ones, I have the cordless ones as well, and still like the interaction of the Wii ones better.

Yeah, I tried the Wii ones. They do feel natural after a few matches. I just need to get the notion out of my mind that the character now jumps using the nunchuck (which is in my left hand) and not the Wiimote.

It almost seems like you need to play the friend thing ahead of time. Maybe pick a specific time and then all log on. Like I said, I could see you on yesterday, but couldn't get a match going.

played it again today with the NGC controller and it feels alot better doing it that. Shame that I accidently used my B move with fox while fighting the secret character unlocking stage....cause it made me fly off the stage.....again.:monkey2

I'm using the Wavebird. The classic controller is okay, my son prefers it because it's smaller. As for remote + nunchuck, I don't know how anybody can stand it and I look forward to pwn-ing you :D

I have yet to see you on there, so when you're done hiding it will be broughten!

Although seriously, I think I'm pretty terrible so far :lol

Well, I picked this game up today and my wife and I played it for a little while. Lots of fun. I LOVE the music. Brings back great memories of playing the original NES when I was young.

:)

Once, I get better at it. I'll try to get online and kick some SSF ass.

:lol

Just picked it up at TRU!!!
Last copy they had!!!!:chew
I haven't played Super Smash Bros since I had the N64, so I can't wait to relive the glory days.

Just opened a Brawl room.....let's see if this works.

Tried to join, then told me that you either were disconnected or did not have me on the list... so damn annoying!

You'd think they'd have worked this out a little better before launching it :lol

Same result as last time... are you ever getting a message that someone is trying to join? I think you are the one who gets to let people in... but maybe you aren't getting the message because of a glitch?
