Y'know, i played The Shire level on that the other day, and after i'd slaughtered a few hobbits a killed a few rangers, it was an absolute delight to see ol' Tom materialise to protect a group of hobbit 'shirrifs', only for my Goblin army to cut him down in the midst of a 'Hey ding dillo!' and trample over his prone corpse as i continued my march on Hobbiton, burning The Green Dragon to the ground and obliterating Bag End.
But i do love Tom!

I was thinking earlier of how it would be fun to go opening day, sit behind someone who might be a little too desperate to see the film, and then during the opening credits start singing lyrics from the Rankin and Bass Hobbit cartoon.

Peter Jackson and Andy Serkis were involved with the adventures of Tintin. That's probably why Glennfett would think that. It's not out either, I believe it comes out next month.

Oh ok, didn't know it came out at a different time for you guys. It's out here in the UK. It also has Weta doing the effects, and outside of LOTR related people working on it, John Williams is doing the score, and Dr.Who's Stephen Moffat is a writer! Not to mention Steven Spielberg, Daniel Craig, Jamie Bell, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost...
