Based off of that photo, it looks like Gollum's eyes have been updated. They were the only thing about him that I didn't buy into visually in the old films. They always looked flat and painted on, and his eyelids seemed non-existent unless he blinked. If they have updated them, I'll be very pleased. He looks great!

Yeah, Thorin looks great. I bought the ipad version of the EW on Comic-Con/The Hobbit and the article itself was really good.

As far as 1:6th figures those would be nice. I just don't see anyone going to that well anytime soon. However, we should continue to get great stuff from Sideshow, Weta, and Gentle Giant.
