I know, but as a fan of the original, I like how they acknowledge it by bringing back some of the original actors. Now where is Ham Tyler?

I love when shows do stuff like this for the fans!

I've been watching this show since the beginning and I've become increasingly frustrated by something. I can't figure out why the fifth column just doesn't snag a V and expose them as a lizard on national TV or the Internet. It seems like Anna is playing a public relations game and I can't figure out how she would talk her way out of it. Even if she said they disguised themselves because they were afraid people wouldn't accept them I would think it would breed enough doubt in people and cause her to lose face, pun intended, with a lot of people. I figured when they had that V captured a couple of episodes ago it was an excellent opportunity to make a statement.

All I know is if I was fifth column that is the first thing I would do.

Last night's episode was another solid one. They are finally ratcheting up the action and suspense. The story seems to be heading in a good direction and I heard that the ratings actually went up for last night's episode. Ratings are still not great, but at least they stopped falling for now.

While the story is getting better, it is still far from great. You knew that Erica's ex was going to die. Kind of silly that the hostages are on the ground and the fifth column and FBI guys are up on rooftops shooting each other and yet he still gets shot. It had to be done so that Tyler could go live with the Vs. Does anyone fell any sympathy for his character? I can't stand him. Blaming his mother and then leaving her like that? What a spoiled P.O.S. The actor who plays him is terrible too. Both his mother and Lisa get saddled with this total zero to act with. I hope he doesn't make it to next season. So is Ryan dead too?

I can't wait to see where they go with the Lisa/Diana pairing. Looks promising. All in all a good episode and I am eagerly looking forward to next week's episode.

I loved when Erica went all militant at the end of this episode with her Strike first, Strike hard attitude!

I'm looking forward to next week's episode and hoping the show kicks into warp drive and ramp up all the action!

Hi guys, I'm new to the boards but I am a big fan of the original V. I do follow the new series and enjoy it. I too have been frustrated with the lack of action. It does seem to be picking up so hopefully it will continue. The story is good but it needs a mix of action along with it.

If V does come back for a third season, then I am guessing Scott Wolf, Tyler Huffman and/or Jane Badler don't make it out of the finale alive. Scott Wolf's character is pretty useless. I hope they kill Tyler off. Please, please, please.

I'm ok with killing off some of those characters but not all. I really enjoy Lisa , and Father Jack and Ryan are interesting characters. Chad and Tyler can go though.

The ratings for this week's episode held steady from last week with a 1.9 share in the 18-49 demo and a 5 overall. Ratings had gone up slightly over the previous two weeks, so hopefully they continue to rise - otherwise it is on the verge of being cancelled.

I am really digging this show now - especially after the last 3 episodes or so. Last night's episode was really good. I like how they have made Erica a bad @ss. It is about time! Lots of action and plot development in the episode that have set up a promising doozy of the finale in the last two episodes. I really hope this series gets renewed by ABC because it is really hitting its stride now. Hopefully, the ratings are increasing as well because that is what will ultimately decide if this series is back in the fall.

Yeah I thought the two of them make a good pair. Only thing, isn't Hobbes gf/wife still alive and the Vs have her? Isn't that why he detonated those bombs? Wait until Erica finds out he was at least partly responsible for her ex husbands death.
