I was expecting Diana, but Ryan and Tyler felt like they were done purely for shock value, Ryan especially. Very unsatisfying consclusion to both of those character's arcs imo. The rest of the episode was strong though. I'd be surprised if it gets picked up for another full season, but hopefully we'll get at least a mini-series for some resolution.

I watched the season finale' on my DVR just now. Wow, shocking to say the least! I had a feeling if Diana went "topside" on the mothership that Anna would take her out. I was sad to see Diana killed off. I'm old enough to have remembered and like the original series. So it was great to see Jane Badler return as Diana. Another nice touch was having V original series star Marc Singer come in tonight as Lars too! Great to see him again after all of these years. :clap

What a "cliffhanger" tonight huh?

I too was shocked by Ryan and Tyler's deaths. Two characters I cared about. Now their stories have been abruptly cut short. I hate to see that! I've heard some people whine about how they "hated" Tyler. But I didn't. I liked him. A young man struggling with his issues with trying to find his place, and still keep the balance between his love for his family and for Lisa. Ryan's story was a tough one too. His struggles with trying to protect his daughter, and at the same time keep his allegiance to the Fifth Column. That was shocking seeing his "brainwashed" daughter kill him. Whoah. :horror

I think Chad Decker will be next to go...if we even get one more season. I am hoping that ABC will renew it. I believe it needs a FULL season. Not a mid-season smaller season. I've supported this show from the beginning. I've seen every episode. Too many great sci-fi shows in the past have been cut WAY too short! Let's see....Firefly, (Star Trek) Enterprise, to name the top two in my opinion. I'm hoping that ABC actually listens to the fans, and keeps V on for at least one more season! There's still some story to be told. If it gets the chance the *&#! is about to hit the fan, so to speak! I'd love to see an all-out battle between the Visitors and the "Resistance" humans! The stage is set with this finale'! I want to see Erica get revenge on Anna for Tyler's death, and her husband Joe! It's payback time! :)

DAAAAAAAAAAYUM! :panic: :panic: :panic:

I wasn't expecting my entire list to get offed! :lol

The season finale left me stunned! :thud:

V better get renewed!

Well done Snoop. :clap :hi5:

What a fantastic season finale! everything about that was just awesome and like JediMike said what a cliffhanger to end on! it will be criminal if we don't get an end to this story, it really will.

I like many on this thread have supported this show from the beginning so i would be gutted if it didn't come back.

Thanks, Jay! :D

I had a feeling that Diana was gonna die but to see Ryan die at the hands of his daughter was shocking to me.

Even though I disliked Tyler I felt bad for him when "Lisa" had him for a snack. Gee whiz...going out like a Big Mac...that ain't cool! :lol

I've watched V from the beginning as well (and was also a big fan of the original two mini-series in the '80s, I can't say the same for the series they made after) and while it did have some slow points, I believe it was really staring to click. The last few episodes have been very well done IMO. I agree that it would totally blow if we don't get some sort of resolution (anyone remember Invasion a few years ago - another classic ABC no resolution cancellation). With so many story twists right now there is plenty of directions to take the story.
I didn't see anyone mention Hobbes, where did he go?

I have really enjoyed this series. The first season had more "downs" than "ups", but my nostalgia for the original series carried me through. I thought the second season was much improved and if they can sustain the level of suspense, action and story telling that they had over the last 5 episodes, then season 3 could be really great. Unfortunately, I fear this show will be cancelled unless last night's ratings were significantly improved over the 1.7 - 1.9 rating that the show normally pulls. I hope I am wrong. We'll probably find out in the next week or so what ABC decides.

I liked much of the finale, but there were some parts that didn't quite work for me. I liked how they handled Diana's death, shocking and sad which is why it was well done. Ryan's death just felt forced to me. He has been one of the physically strongest characters on the show and to have him put up no fight against his daughter (who is still physically smaller and weaker than him) just didn't sit well with me. I also didn't care for the way they killed off Tyler because anything more than dropping him out the cargo bay door is more than he deserved. The fact that he got to nail the hottest chick on the show before she ate him is way too good for him. :lol

The line of the show for me was Anna to Lisa when she said, "That is how you kill your mother". :rock Also kind of silly how the Vs kneeled before Diana, then kneel before Anna after she kills Diana. Are they all mindless sheep err lizards? :lol

I wonder what the heck happened to Hobbs? He didn't figure into the finale at all. Weird that Erica wouldn't give him a more prominent or crucial role in trying to kill Anna considering she has been closest to him the past few weeks.

I am really intrigued by the underground cabal headed up by Marc Singer's character. This story line could really kick this chow into high gear in S3. It would be cool if Marc sticks around for S3 too.

Come on ABC...please renew V.

Ryan did say i'm not going to fight you and he probably didn't think she was going to snap his neck when she wrapped her tail around him, guess he thought wrong eh? :lol
