Over time I have come around on them except Superman 3 I still think it’s bad lol

Oh god it was bad. Really bad but it's so bad it's actually good. The ****ing dialogue though.

One character looks over at a bunch of motorcycles and says "Get to the choppers". I'm not even joking.

"You are one beautiful mother****er".

You also get Olivia Munn in her white sneakers chasing the Predator with a tranquilizer gun while he does a slower version of the Flash run from JL.

Guys I just can't with this movie. RayLiottaLaugh.gif

Best comedy of the year no question. Watch it drunk or high for guaranteed lolz.

Once again the promise of ''forget all those other crappy sequels, we're the true successor'' ends in failure and embarrassment. And Terminator is next (again).

Was it a thought like “this sucks I’m leaving”! Or did you physically get out of your seat walk to the bottom of the stairs, exit the threatre room then decide to turn around and go back to your seat?

Even if a movie sucks I will still watch till the end. Hell I paid for it and I have already slotted that time to be in the theatres!!

I've been thinking over the movie and you're right in that it's actually a great comedy. Like a Jimmy Fallon spoof without Jimmy Fallon.

The original was ridiculous in it's own right for sure but this is just like a straight up piss take. I thought other than a few short moments aswell the soundtrack sucked for the most part. Predators certainly did that better.

I got out of this movie about 3 hours ago and I'm still in absolute disbelief that anyone involved thought it was good while they were making it. It's Sharknado tier.

I hated it! ALL OF IT! Don't want a single collectible from it. I don't want to be reminded.

That ending line! That ending scene! Like a Power Rangers nightmare.

I want to throat punch Shane Black. This is NOT the way "resurrect" the franchise. This is how you put the franchise on the ground and take an industrial sized crap on it.

I hope you can enjoy it mate. I tried my best to but couldn't find much to entertain me lol.

Well THAT was a fun ride - not what we've come to expect from the franchise - but certainly entertaining.

Lots of clever and interesting bits - along with several "what the heck?" moments that left us wondering what happened (in the script, to the plot, AND to the Director!)

Certainly had the feel of a movie that had been hacked a bit and then stitched back together, as some of the bits didn't quite join up.

The cast was superb (including Munn once you get past her "paintball gun scenes").

The loonies are AWESOME !!!!! - you really feel for all of them, which makes the final act (obviously was always going to be a showdown) a bitter pill to swallow.

By FAR the worst bit was the score whenever they re-used bits/themes from Predator & Predator 2 - unlike PREDATORS which made that work - it was TERRIBLE in this - used at the wrong times and in the wrong ways, as it immediately pulled you out of this movie and made you think of P1 & P2. Very bad decision. They should do a re-cut with that stuff swapped out.

Overall, it was certainly well worth the money and nowhere near as bad as some negative nellies have made it out to be. I'll be watching it again soon as some stuff just happened too fast to follow.

My Son & I put it above AVP-R and AVP, but below the other 3.

I'll post some more tomorrow (with spoilers obscured as I don't want to ruin anything for anyone).

I'd hardly say he ****ed up Iron Man. What was the worst crime of that movie? Turning the Mandarin into a non-villain? It didn't seem to do the MCU any harm. Squandered some potential maybe but that's it.

Having said that it does sound like he has rammed Predator even deeper into the ground.
