This piece is so great for a number of reasons. It's a KILLER sculpt, it has great paint apps, he is massive, he looks dangerous.
One of the things I like best about the sculpt is that it proves to me that cloth is not needed on statues. The way the folds of cloth are sculpted and the fantastic paint apps make it look like real clothes. That is true artistic talent in my book. Artists making stone look like real cloth. I couldn't even imagine this piece done any other way. Its magnificent!

Everything is all good on our end Ski. My oldest boy Joe just turned 4 and he was there when I opened my DD com. He's sooooo excited. My wife just laughs at both of us.

I've mostly read Punisher MAX and a couple of war journals, but as i was browsing some artwork i came across this:

I know SSC had it based off of an Ariel design, but i didn't realize it was an actual cover, i thought it was a generic pose using the art style done for this piece only.
