I've mostly read Punisher MAX and a couple of war journals, but as i was browsing some artwork i came across this:
My comiquette, right there.
I know SSC had it based off of an Ariel design, but i didn't realize it was an actual cover, i thought it was a generic pose using the art style done for this piece only.

The question that I've always had for this comiquette, is why was his free hand trigger finger look like it should have been drawn with him holding another gun.

It's almost funny how many people say that. It's amazing how the Gore group can take AO's art and just turn it into pure gold. They have done such a great job on the AO line. Just look at all the incredible statues AO and the Gore group have come up with together. Impressive work. I can't wait to see their Apocalypse comiquette.
I agree with you on the Punisher statue. It's one of SSC's very best statues IMHO.

I prefer the Captain america costume alternate cover where he is holding another gun.
I dont see why they couldn't have taken that idea and melded it with this one.
Guess it wouldn't be print accurate then.
Hopefully an Olivetti Punisher/ Cap cover in the future!

I love olivetti's art style, his work on X-Man was just brilliant! the real color scheme with the dark highlights are great. and the exaggerated muscles rule. Then again I am a big Simon Bisley fan.
