Oh come on Dave! You know the long drawn out courting ritual!!
1) Complain they haven't done the figure
2) Complain about the teaser pics of the figure
3) Complain about the full images of the figure
4) Complain about the accessories
5) Complain about the inaccuracies
6) The swearing not to order
7) The complaining about the ordering process they swore not to do
8) The discussion about the order process and potential server crash
9) The complaining they should have done it sooner
10) The complaining its not here yet.

Don't forget about the complaining over the "shipping experiment".

Remember that with them not going to TF itself they might be able to actually SHOW more this year.

Good and bad, you're right in their offering can be more expansive, but seeing things in conventions centers gives a far better idea of how it'll be in hand than anything else.

Yeah, I like seeing things in person or in convention pics too but I won't be unhappy with them if they unload a little more than a normal TF.

My guess is if anything new is debuted during the TF period, it'll be first products in new lines or more new lines, but I doubt anything new as far as Marvel, Star Wars or LOTR will show, just things like a first Indy proto or a first Jurassic Park piece or Conan, stuff like that.

I'd be willing to be your wrong on nothing new from Marvel, LOTR, or SW.

Well, better to be surprised than to expect something and not get it. They've never really had anything major new for LOTR or SW, maybe an item, in the past.

I believe they announced Mace @ TF and something else. So I don't see why an announcement would be any big deal. If they announce an armored fig then that's quite cool. Like I said this isn't past TF where they where at the show and treating it like an industry show.

We shall see. :D

Sideshow's secret plan is to wait until we are all soo old, no one will even remember who Vader was!!! :monkey2

SS has waited so long now, that they are damned either way - some will love them since they are cheaper than Medicom; some will say they are just plain inferior to Medicom - either way, they lose.....UNLESS, they pull their most incredible figs on a new body.

The people the firmly stand behind Medicom will always feel that's the better figures, even if a Sideshow Vader was one of the best figures ever and 100% accurrate to the film it represents.
