Right... I won't result to name calling, so where's opinion since you basically wanted to ____ on me and get away with it.

I'm here listening... :tap I'll have a discussion in a more civil manner.

Or am I wrong in my points as to what you did?

You're completely off base. I'm not even sure what you want to discuss. The woman in the video clearly states that and I quote "It's not the number of calories that matters...it's the quality of foods you're eating." She then types up on her power point "The number of calories DOES NOT MATTER." She even all caps it. I think that is terrible advice for someone looking to lose weight. For someone like you and I that knows better sure we can read through it and infer our own meaning, but this lady is marketing to fattys and they won't. They'll say "WOW, I can eat real butter and avocados and etc, etc, and calories don't matter!" Sorry, it's in no way shape or form a personal attack on you. I don't even know how you draw that conclusion. The lady has good advice, and one piece of ____ty advice that I pointed out. Not sure how that equates to me attacking you or me enjoying to argue with you. I'll apologize if you took it the wrong way, but I won't apologize for my comment and stand by it completely.

It makes me sad as well, trying to give some helpful info and help out others but in return you get this kind of response.

Like I said if it were more of civil approach I probably wouldn't of reacted the way I have.

yea I understand your point Ski, I doubt Ski would be givin any of the freaks misleading info, considering he's been doing this for a while I'd just take his advice :rock

I think the lady is trying to be realistic and saying that you don't have to do 1200 calorie diet to lose weight.. if you are eating the right things. This means you can eat a full 2000 if you eat right.

Not go eat 4000 calories of the this stuff and yuo will be fine. I don;t think anyone would take it like that.

Yes :yess: that's more like it, and I totally agree with you! Calories do matter to a certain extent and I can also see what you are saying about some of the over weight ppl thinking that they can eat all they want that's not the case.

See I wouldn't of flown off the handle if you would of worded that way and I totally agree with you, I'm sorry for flying off the handle but without further details as to why a statement would be made then I wouldn't know the whole story.

Sorry I take this thread a lil more seriously than the fly by the seat of my pants with collectible threads because it's simply no matter of getting upset about but this thread is sort of my word to helping others out and whenever someone comes in and disagrees with me I'm not angry right off the bat, I'd more less like to know why they disagree if they are serious. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong and I can see others points...

Pretty much spot on :exactly:

My post had nothing to do with your info though, it was coming from the lady not you. You don't agree with everything, in every video or article you read or post do you? In fact I know you don't because you even said in the last video it's good up until she starts peddling ____, which would lead me to believe you don't agree with that. I didn't agree with only one thing she said and called her out on it. It has nothing to do with you, nor do I ever think you'd give or have ever given bad advice in here so I'll just sit over here and wait for my reach around from you.:impatient:

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl all gewd brother, and yes I don't agree with 100% of some of the knowledge that is out there, unless I type it up myself.

Sorry if I took the advice personal.

Like I said. People in the know could maybe infer this. Depending on how knowledgable they already are. I also agree that she sort of hints at it in the slide that follows, hint being the operative word. But lets take a look at who programs like this are marketed to and where these people are at already, how they got to that point, and why they are looking for a solution. Take this as your context without her voice (which never clarifies any of this specifically) and you tell me that this is a great way for anyone to lose weight or that anyone would infer any other meaning than what it actually says...

I know if I was told this, after just being told to eat natural REAL butter, and coconut oil, and avocados, etc. I'd go out and eat a six pack of butters sticks with a coconut oil milkshake.

*Disclaimer* This is not an attack on Skiman, this is not his advice. It is only one part of an entire video full of great advice that I disagree with.

I don't have a IPhone but I thought this would be great for others trying to keep track of calories and food intake.

SparkPeople – You know you should be tracking what you eat. This makes it super easy. It counts calories, macros, you can add your favorite foods, and much more. What excuse will you have left when you have this thing in your pocket? And did I mention it’s free

I've used Sparkpeople before in the past and it is quite easy to use and free...great recommendation Ski!

Of course since I'm on Weight Watchers I don't use anything on SparkPeople anymore (WW has their own tracking system, which is just their version of calorie counting/food intake).
