I don't know how many people talk about food and where they shop, etc. I don't visit this thread very much. I shop at Whole Foods because I like their selections, especially their meat. Anyways, they have a wonderful frozen dessert that I like in place of ice cream. If you don't know of it or haven't tried it, you should. Because even those of us that work out still need a treat once in a while.

The brand of ice cream is called Arctic Zero. It has only 150 calories per pint/37 calories per 3/4 cup. You really cannot go wrong. They have a few different flavors. I really like the chocolate peanut butter and the cookies n cream. If I were to compare it to something, I would say think of a chocolate popsicle (fudgesicle) and that would be the consistency. It's actually quite yummy.

What's it sweetened with, Buffy?

I am pretty happy about this week.

Tuesday - gym
Wednesday - gym
Thursday - Martial Arts
Friday - ice skating

Since I have decided to get back on the horse I have lost 10lbs and having been gaining definition back. I will post pictures when I have done more and have my confidence back.

I just came back from a very goodpower jog at the gym. I'll get some photos that I hope answer your questions on the arctic zero.

You would think the average person isn't going to eat the entire pint. I eat 1/4 of it or less each time I consume some. Which is maybe a couple times of week.

When I got on the treadmill yesterday I noticed my ankle was a bit sore. I still pushed through (I shouldn't have) because I wanted to run. Did my 42 minute run and 3 minute cool down. Feels the same today. Sadly, I'm going to skip the gym to allow my ankle at least a day to heal. I'll ice and elevate it. Do not wish to have a full on sprain. I'm going to use my weight bar at home today to do moderate weight training. Nothing that will put pressure on my ankle. I can't go to the gym and do it because I KNOW I will get on the treadmill and make myself run. I'm terrible like that.

I'm so bummed today. I love running. I hope I don't need 2 days off. I might go stir crazy.

Wow really, good one hahaha. Brand??

I have never noticed to be honest. Since my ankle is not cool for running I did the elliptical instead. Worked a bit extra on it but no pain so I'm happy. Will do that, swim and weights till my ankle heals.

Ok, yea just wondering because different treadmills have different absorbtion systems. Some can actually bother you more. Like I can't use Star Trac or Life Fitness treads but love Precor and True. I really don't even use the tread much anymore as I use the Precor Elliptical with no arms or the Precor AMT.

I'll have to look today. I swam last night to burn a couple hundred extra calories since I felt I wanted to. I felt more pain swimming with ankle movements so just elliptical for the week. Which is soooo boring.

The gym was closed for remodeling so I had to hit the pool. I only did 30 minutes of straight, hard (New territory for me) swimming. I'm exhausted.
