So, serious question here...Anyone get runners cramp? I don't mean a stitch in your side, I mean full on I'm giving birth omg kill me, pain? I get it in the middle of my workout lately (no idea why) and I have to stop 20 min in, rest while I die, then either stop for the day, or come back to the gym later and finish. It doesn't happen on my second run through.

I read up on it and nothing has helped me. Confused indeed.

Whenever I have gotten this it's always whenever I'm away on vacation(which hinders a lot of cooking, meal frequency, etc..) or a lack of getting in nutrients and water. That's what my body likes to do, I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone.

So like once a year with my vacations (hamstring or calf :: take your pick). :)

I don't drink water before my run, only because I have a coffee and my body pees 500 x as it is before I go to the gym. I hate that feeling while running. However, I don't think that's the problem because this is more current. Didn't happen a couple of weeks ago.

I could be running for too long in a row, I don't know. I'll drop my 10 min jogs to 5 min starting tomorrow with 2 min fast walks in between like I used to and see what happens.

Boom! Fixed. Instead of doing my jog on 5.2 for ten minutes or more at a time, I lessened it to 5 minutes jog at 5.2 and then 2-3 minutes walk at 3.2. I did that for 40 min (20 min longer than I've been able to go lately with the pain) and I felt...NADA. Happy to know that I was just probably pushing my body to do too much at once. Now I can go back to my 40-45 min workouts. Feels good. I was feeling lazy this week with only 20 min on the treadmill.

Ok, I need to make some gains in my traps. I seem to have plateaued and need to add something new to increase the mass. Any suggestions?
