:rotfl Indeed.

Love how Darkside has the hood on his. Very cool. In that top pic, though, it looks like he has no legs, and is being held aloft by a big pole shoved up his arse. :p

This figure is sweet and I was looking forward to it,but those eyebrows
are just ridiculous.What a shame..........

My repaint has begun....

I'm painting three Anakins and two Lukes all at once. I marked which one was the Sith Anakin, so I make sure to paint that one all Sith-y. I know it doesn't really matter, since they're all the same sculpt, but I wanted everyone to go back to the bodies they came with.

Quick question: any watchouts on putting damp/wet clothing on Anakin's faux-leather costume? Or soaking it in water? Thanks!

i haven't seen any damage to either of my anakin's so far, and i used a lot of water on the cloaks.

So - being as how your Akakin totally is how I'm going to pose him when he arrives i was wondering how you got your robe to drape so well.

You mentioned that you used a lot of water. Did you spray this on with a spray bottle, soak it, steam it?

Do tell...

I didn't have a spray bottle so I just soaked him. The robe looks so much better. Just wet it and let it dry in the position you want to pose him and it'll hang nicely. (did I just say that?)

i used a spray bottle and i pretty much drown the hell out of it. then shape it the way you want it to look when dried. dave on rs hasn't revealed his water method so i don't know how he does his figures but in my case this is how i do mine. when i first get the figure i basically take everything off and redress him layer by layer using water on each layer. it's best to already have the pose you want in my mind and work around that. in anakin's case, i seperated the leather straps(?) from the cloth belt(?) in order for it to hang low enough. sith anakin is the only figure i've posed with the hood up and i drowned that with the rest of the cloak and just shaped it. when you use this method it's also best to make sure you put him in a hot enough place for the clothes to completely dry after you're done, they will slightly mold if they don't completely dry. hope this helps!

mine haven't came out too stiff, enough to hold the pose though. when changing poses, i only end up rewatering the cloak and maybe the sleaves on the tunic so they drape correctly.
