That palanquin looks great! Poor guys, having to haul him all over town...

Is the amphora painted on the wall a new addition, perhaps an ad/sign for the wine shop?
 
Here are some "Making of..." pictures of my Roman travel carriage. It is based on the replica in the Archaeological Park in Xanten/Germany.
The Part with horses and harness will follow soon.
I know, the wheels are too modern, but if you don't get too close, it works.

I think you are one of the greatest fans in the 1/6 scale world.

Part I - Plebs

Here are some pictures from the first dress rehearsal (Thanks to Nina and Inge for the support).
What's the best place to present some plebs? Yes, the termopolio on the corner. The figures are not all final. They will get sandals and some pretty belts too. And I have to work on some of the giraffe necks.

(you should change the name of the thread to include something like "1/6 scale Roman CITY" - you'll get more people looking at it... I nearly went straight past)
