I could not for the life of me see the International version as better than the EX... I think the attraction is the ES, the covered legs dont appeal to me at all

Already own the standard Thing. If they offered off the International version then I could have both versions.

The standard is classic. The Int is Modern. Its not about what you get with it, its about what looks good on display. They are visually different like people who have the exclusive Iron Man with Tony sculpt showing and then the standard next to it.

I think EU customers get 50% discount for shipping, but US customers get $1.99 shipping.

The thing weighs 34 lbs but shipping weight is a great deal more.

My exclusive definitely feels like its magnetized. The head has a large peg-like appearance on the end of it so that it slips into a corresponding hole on top of the torso. You can definitely feel the magnet pull it into place. *sounds confusing.* Bottomline: Yes.
