Incredible piece! Sideshow really nailed this one. The expressions on both Saruman's and Gandalf face are really well captured.

Yeah, this piece is great! The base is amazingly done and looks like a replica from the movie. Saruman is exceptional and the eyes look great on mine. GTG is much better than I expected with the likeness being pretty close IMO. Pics also don't show really just how huge this piece is. I'm talking massive and heavy as hell. I got #276.

I'm pretty sure it's not 1/6th scale. In Grond33's picture you can see the GG Saruman bust which is 1/6 and it's bigger. I think it's 1/7th based on the other vs statues.

I think if you took GTG out of the picture it would stand out by itself as well. Saruman at his throne in all his glory. Perhaps a pic by itself would help in determining if that's possible.
Replace Gandalf with the pedastal and Palantir and we're definitely on to something...

That would be pretty cool.
Just Saruman would look cool and does or so I thought to myself when I was setting it up. However the impact of seeing GTG about to fly across the room and the battle that comes from that is cool as well.
