Your mods are really nice (although I still take credit for giving everyone the idea and being the first one to stuff the torso ), but I can't help but feel that the head looks too small now

Well, thanks to you I still can't stop messing with him.

I slimmed him down by pressing and prodding the cotton right through the rubber suit.

It's also a little different post to add hight to the head.




I have a feeling I will be doing something much more drastic to this figure in the near future...

Wish the picture was taken straight on. I can't remember what this thing looks like straight on with no mods and I have no pictures of it straight on...

and Yes it's meant to be blurry. i's not just my bad picture taking skills, I just focused on the Screencap instead b/c I don't want ppl telling me to change things haha I like it as is

I believe the left is Takara or Medicom and right is Hot Toy's ?

Yes... I know..I own Takara Batman Begins...Although in the pic ..it seems like the Hot Toy's is pretty good as well. Is this the first Hot Toys one or the retake ? I think there was a retake correct ?

Nope not yet, but I'm sure I will have to soon. I keep getting the so called "blue screen of death" every now and then. BUT I think it's more b/c I need more RAM and all the 3D modeling programs I have are crashing it

well since the paint has been giving me trouble, just thought I'd at least share the final sculpt with you guys

(PS: The light is making the sculpt look really rough for some reason. In hand it's pretty darn smooth and all those ridges aren't even noticeable. The light's also making the nose look pretty wide)

here you can see how it kind of fits, (as it should since it was my main reference pic) though the pics weren't taken at the exact same angle, I tried anyways (plus it made me feel better about the sculpt )

I'm pretty proud of it and think it looks one heck of a lot better than my first attempt. (lets not even go back to that!)

Also just as a fun fact. all that's left of the original Takara HS are the nose, eyes, some of the forehead, and some of the cheeks. Everything else was resculpted. The entire head is now solid and not "squishable' (for lack of better word) and hollow like it used to be.

also, it's fine by me to give your comments on it (after all that's what this place is for), just know that I'm not changing anything to the sculpt...Once I get satisfied with a sculpt it stays that way. Not trying to be rude, just don't want a whole bunch of "well just change this and it will be perfect"...I tell myself that many a time and on all of my resculpts, there is at least one thing I wish I didn't change b/c I thought it would make it "perfect"

Maybe it's because the head is too small, but that comparison makes the Takara neck look way too long.

When you see the neck seem it has the effect of making the head look smaller and the neck look longer.

The reason I posted that pic was for feedback.

Some I post just to show a figure off, in which case I don't "need" comments, but now I'm actually trying to decide something.




Again, does the head still look noticeably small after shrinking the muscles a bit?
