The Wait List Worked For Me!

I just got another Wait List conversion email... For the Darth Vader PF Exclusive!

That is really cool to still be able to get one. I found an exclusive for $389 shipped about a month ago. He is really a great statue and will go great with your Obi. The only problem with him I had was getting his cape on him. It was kind of hard to do that. I have Grievous on the way after getting on the wait list Friday and a conversion on Monday, and I am still waiting for Boba to convert but Im sure he will eventually. So far I have got two conversion from the wait list and only one figure that never converted which was the Anakin exclusive but I got him from Dark Shadow Collectibles.

Congratulations! That's a surprise, since he shipped six months ago. I'm surprised that they are just now filling wait list requests for him. He's a great figure--enjoy him!

Lurtz is on the way, vader exc might be on the way and I want to buy Doom exclusive from Anakin if we can agree.
problem is I start to ran out of space as my stautes are at my mom's and sister's houses, for I am working in Russia

I am sure there will be lots of Vader statues coming in the future and to be honest I like attakus 1 vader more than SS Vader.

What would you suggest, shall I cancel Vader, help pls

It depends Gambit, how desperately do want the exclusive? If not, then I'd go on ebay and a cheaper regular edition. Trust me, the exclusive isn't worth the extra money....it's the lamest of them all!

I like it as well, and I would say that the mouse droid is a better exclusive than the training remote, since the droid has a matching base and fits in with the environment that Vader and Obi-Wan share. The remote's Falcon base doesn't belong amidst the Death Star duel, so I would say that the mouse droid is a better exclusive than the remote.

I agree I was kind of dissappointed by the training remote because I had just opened the Vader before hand and the Mouse droid is huge. Is that really 1/4 scale. I was very impressed. Plus it can roll on its wheels.

actually pal, the problem is not the exclusive or regular choice.

I would go to ebay if I were in US but if you are living in Turkey, than Ebay is not the best choice, trust me. some sellers are not sending to Turkey & the ones that are selling are selling for higher price and there is always a risk to lose your money even if you pay with paypal. I know because I had bad experiences 2 times in the past.

I am very happy with Sideshow's shipping and I am ready to pay 50 $ more for the great service.

My question is: is the Vader statue worth at this time when all other highend statues are coming to me. Plus need to consider I will not be displaying him at least 1 year and he will stay in a box.
Would you buy him if you will not be displaying ? I am not displaying/will not display Iron man, hulk vs, wolverine vs, lurtz or any other statues as well but they are very unique and I am not sure if any company can make such nice renditions in future.

Wait list worked for me today. I had to cancel Subject 5 right before he was shipped well this morning I was looking around the SS web site and figured what the heck might as well get on the wait list for him. Got my conversion notice about a second ago. So if anybody missed him now would be a good time to get on the wait list.

I picked one up as well. I'm real excited, It's scheduled to be delievered on Friday. I'm happy the wait-list , it worked for me. I really wanted one but missed out on the initial offering. I saw one recently at a comic shop for $130 dollars. Ouch!!

My Darth Maul Inclusive wait-list came through as well, although I'm having second thoughts. I'm really concerned about his paints apps. I'm sure that his outfit and accessories will be top notch.Has anyone heard anything about a shipping date for the Maul figure?

It's funny, because I actually meant to put my name on the list at the end of '04, but I figured there was no way I would get one due to the quick sell out.

This is the 2nd "Wow, I can't believe they still have those" waitlists that I've gotten this year. I got an Ugluk off of it 3-4 months ago.

I've gotten a TON of WL fulfillments at the time an item is shipping, but I don't really count those. The true gems are the ones like this that convert months or even years after the item is sold out.
