The gameplay footage of this game sure looks like crap. Game looks cheap, especially this far into the life cycle of this current gen of systems. This looks like a PS2 game. You can tell this was rushed and trying to capitalize on the show's popularity. Plus, your health regeneration is ÿou have to drink electrolytes? Lame.

Started playing this last night. It's ok so far. It's fun to just play in the universe.

And eating blue, green, or red herbs is any better? :lol Or maybe you'd prefer mushrooms? Games have always had a way to restore health that wouldn't have worked in real life :dunno

"This game isn't very good...but it's Walking Dead so it's the best thing ever". :lol

Yeah. Looks horrible. Slow. Dull. Action seems repetitious. I can't see how controlling it would help. I'd rather play Dead Rising or something. Something that makes me feel like i'm really there.

Plus, just like Aliens, killing Zombies doesn't look at all satisfying. A little squirt of blood shoot out...yippie? No facial damage? No grisly animation?

The one thing I'm honestly disappointed in is that it is single player and you can only play as Daryl (well, you get to play as his Dad for about 1 full minute :lol). I would have liked to play as Merle as well. And co-op would have been great. I'd have loved to play as the Dixon brothers with my brother.

But other than that, its about what I expected. I'd like to see another game between season 2 and 3 during the winter. I'd like to be able to play as Rick and the rest of the group in that as well.

Finished the game today. It's fun to play in this world but sadly the game isn't worth $60. It would be if herd mode was a mp feature but since its only single kind of no point. Think ill trade it in towards bioshock on Friday.

How long did it take you to finish it? I'm a huge "The Walking Dead" fan, so I'm considering to give it a try.

It actually was rushed. They wanted to release it as soon as possible. Specially with season 3 being on TV

Got the game day one. (Had it PO'd with some trade in value).

The game could have been decent. It's like a free, single player, L4D knock-off. But with slower zombies, a stupid inventory menu, no story, dumb controls, and cheap deaths (if you actually wanna kill zombies, if not, just walk around them).

That being said, the graphics aren't great, but the atmosphere is very TWD. Lots of creepy moments, and decent voice work, that could have been better without cheesy writing and a forced, abrupt ending.

It's short, and I mean real short. Took me about 4 hours or so to beat. But it is TWD, it is Daryl, you get to use the iconic crossbow for about an hour (lolz). And believe it or not, despite the clunky gameplay, menu systems, redundant "road trip" missions, and stupid *** story, it's pretty addictive. Especially if you're loot whore.

The hardest choices you make while playing this game is to either keep the wrench as your main weapon or use the lead pipe. You can't really use guns very often because you'll have about 4000 zombies spawning in after you fire one shot, and most of the objectives you could just sprint to without even worrying about teh zombs.

If you're a huge TWD fan (like myself) and have to pick it up, go for it. I'd suggest to get the TellTell game however.

5/10.

60$?!? It should have been 49.99 new bud.

I said it wasn't worth $60. :dunno I would have felt better about the price of the game if herd mode was a mp. Then me and some friends could have worn that out. This game is about a $20 game in all honestly.

Traded it in for $25 towards bioshock.

Ha! Better than nothing or what?

Damn, glad I didn't buy this, I'm a huge fan but the videos made clear for me not to buy it.

Better than nothing for sure. Just a week after release I figured I'd get something, but I have a feeling it wasn't a little higher cause others had done the same.

It's worth $20. I'd have kept it for a whole longer if herd mode was a mp option. Since it wasn't there just wasn't enough in the game for me to keep it.
