Language is often one of the realism factors missing from many shows - and though it's true for TWD, I personally haven't found it problematic as I have with some other programs. If this were on Starz, Showtime, or HBO, it would be a different story entirely. There would also be a lot more penes (I'm really not sure why the other form of the plural is blocked on the forum, seems very prudish).

I've never had an issue with the no language rule for TWD however on that occasion it really needed it so that we truly believed Rick meant business.

I notice the absence of F-bombs on the show. Always have. Yeah it's annoying because there's just no way you'd be in the situations these people are in and not say '***k'

The funny thing? They're actually allowed to drop F-bombs (as far as standards and FCC are concerned) - so it's production/network's choice not to.

With the amount of extreme gore and violence they show, you wouldn't think an f-bomb here and there would be an issue.

What what I find strange is that they could cut peoples heads off smash brains all over but I can't use the F word

With the season 5 premier only hours away, I thought it might be fun to start a WD dead pool. Who do you think is going to die this season?

Pick any three characters and at the send of the season (not just the first half of the season), we will see who gets the most right.

My picks are : Sasha, Carol and Judith.

Gonna die:

Maggie or Glenn (one or the other, not both), Judith, Bob, Rosita
