Enjoy the final season, this show is going to die. Before the second season even drops we've lost the head writer, the exec producer/director and project organiser, the actors are being mistreated and underpayed, and now they are officially whoring out the show Sopranos style with split seasons.

RIP another great show.

So worried for Hell on Wheels now, it looked like it had so much potential. I wonder if they'll also screw up Breaking Bad.

Goddamnit...this. 100% this.

From what I understand amc is spread thin with resources. It's tough to get an audience with literally 500 channels available.

AMC isn't even a premium channel like HBO or Showtime. I'm surprised they could afford to do something like Walking Dead in the first place.

I'm not so worried about season 2 as Frank worked on the first half and helped map out the entirety of season 2's story. We won't see the effects of the AMC drama for awhile yet. Beyond season 2 is where the test will be for Mazzara & co. Worse case we'll at least see a season 3 regardless of quality. Hopefully they can recover and produce some good stuff despite the budget and talent cuts. But who knows, maybe AMC will find ways to further hurt this show?

looking foward to the new season, even with all the rumors of trouble behind the scenes. i was pleasantly surprised to see AMC in HD the other day. about freakin' time. i got a few friends hooked on this show recently. they can't wait for the new season too.

I'm not worried. The source material is there to support a good show for some time. They could find anyone to make it work if they just stick to it.
