Re: the walking dead webisode

Everything about them was awful. The acting, the directing, the editing, the writing. Despite all that ____, the final decay of the woman took me straight back to that emotional moment in the first season and I was ready for the start of season 2.

I agree, the final moments showing her decay was the only part with a tone that matched the show.

I enjoy it, but I don't think it's the revelation most seem to treat it as. It's the same old story, with the same plot and same characters as every zombie movie you've ever seen, it's just that people aren't used to seeing that level of gore on a tv show. Still, quite entertaining.

Re: the walking dead webisode

In one word: YES.

I personally can not rate this show based on the geriatric paced zombies

If the zombies were more like Snyder's Dawn of the Dead then I think I could atleast feel some impending danger and find this show a whole lot more enjoyable

Re: the walking dead webisode

There definitely seems to be a camp that likes fast zombies and one that prefers the old romero lumbering zombies. I actually think their pace in TWD is somewhere in between. Anyhow, I think the sheer number is what's threatening, they can easily overwhelm! Sure you can run from one batch, but who's to say you're not running towards some more? :lol

Re: the walking dead webisode

I prefer the Romero style shufflers just because runners have no weakness. Of course they're gonna get you when they all run like track stars.

Re: the walking dead webisode

The lumbering zombies are the way to go. They're eventually going to get you and that inevitability is what creates the tension between the characters. I loved Snyder's Dawn but I prefer walkers.

Re: the walking dead webisode

about the webisode.. it was brilliant.they did not spend tons of money to make little 3 to 4 minutes web movies to entertain us..but then again if chris nolan directed it would of been perfection...lol. i would like to know what happened to the children and is having 2 kill the dog twice something were going to see soon, the skeleton of the horse walking around . it could use some fast pace zombies that would shock people ,you need the element of suprise ,but they pay tribute to one of the greats in george romero..

This. I love the Dawn remake and while fast zombies have more of an intensity, slow zombies definitely have a creepiness fast ones don't. Also like you said in the end they almost always get ya. Besides with all the muscle decay, I can barely see how a zombie can walk let alone run.

Anyways the webisodes were great for what they were. I'm going nuts waiting for season 2.
