AMC is running S1 again on Sunday before the premiere. Since I'm a cheapskate and didn't buy the BDs, I'm going to record it because I didn't get a chance to see it in HD the first time.

I'm bummed out now! We had to "cut down" our channels on Dish Network a few months ago. Come to find out now...I don't even have the AMC channel anymore!

So what are my options to see the premiere now guys? I've heard that I can pay and download it from ITunes. Is there any other way to see it? Yes, I did check AMC's Walking Dead website. They don't mention streaming it, or having it available for download.

Call Dish network and complain about service to the retention department or tell them you're thinking about switching to cable or DirecTV. Tell them you want AMC and more than likely they'll offer it to you for a few months for free.

Just watched the first 6 again on netflix. Here's what I don't get- clearly the dead need to feed. It was mentioned when the first zombie came up to the site and ate the deer. In fact the human body need food for energy to do things like walk, growl, eat flesh, etc. But the dead aren't hunters, or farmers, or bakers. So wouldn't they have all just starved to death by now? Maybe I'm overthining it, but this is one of the more scientifically high brow zombie shows.

Yeah, you can't over think this too much. There are many "questionable" plot holes like: zombie or not, everything would still rot and decay (especially in the Atlanta heat) so eventually you would just have a pile of zombie bones, but we see the zombies reach a level of decay where they are still functional and just stay there. Also, the living dead can die, but it appears that they have to be shot in the head. Personally, why not just burn them? Get in a plane, dump fuel, light match = Disco Zombie Inferno.

The show is really more about the survivors, and not so much the zombies. The zombies are just the plot device used that has put these people into this stressful situation and now we get to see how they handle/cope/survive it.
