When geek-favorites become too mainstream, the nerds have to turn on it to keep their 'geek'-cred. And, they can't just stop watching even if they wanted to, because then they couldn't complain geek-specifically enough. The Walking Dead passed that point a long while back.

Non-narcissists shouldn't be in here. They'd be happier some place else.

Wait I've just remembered Devilof76 isn't a fan of Batman '89

This thread really has reached a new low. It used to suck a Southeast Asian gutter, but this is something else. The crows virus has gone full pandemic (mutated strains in the form of Khev, DiFabio and YankeeFanboi), though it has taught me some things.

1) the board needs more pixletwin.

2) common sense was killed by narcissism.

3) Walking Dead haters are just like bronies.

:goodpost:

Couple more things I have learned

4) You can't fix stupid.

5) The ignore button is a good defense against the pandemic.

6) I miss Nam.

Thread becomes uncomfortable when peeps be calling your friends stupid for having criticisms of the show which you happen to share but maybe haven't spoken about quite as much as they have # twitter whateverdafuq!

:D

Saw it last night, thought it was fine. I'm okay when the show decides to do something different every once in a while. Otherwise I think the show could get extremely repetitive (some would argue it already is). But I think it might not have been the best choice to go with such an arty episode after a long hiatus.

I'm actually glad to see him go. He was such a drag on the team and his continuous wrestling with his morals was tiresome.

I did have a huge laugh when they had the scene of the two girls pulling on his arm, then the quick cut to the chaotic reality with Rick yanking on his arm and everyone shouting! It was all worth it just for that! :lol

I don't think they drew out Tyrese's death long enough. Should have been a two-parter with next week's episode ending with his body on a raft floating down the stream. Rick and the others solemnly raise their longbows and shoot flaming arrows into the boat. As one the group hallucinates the spirit of Tyrese rising from the smoke and joining his forefathers in the Halls of Valhalla. Or is it a hallucination...?

Maybe in a future episode Tyrese can deflect a fatal zombie attack against Noah. "Do you want to live forever?" And just like that, the kind hearted giant is gone.

People are stupid if they find an episode of TWD silly or nonsensical? :dunno

Crows virus? I'm honored :lol :lol

the fire rises

I too am honored. It isn't everyday one gets called out by a pseudointellectual like weaselof76.

Stupid may not have been the right word, but it is damn close. Immature might be a more accurate description. There was nothing silly or nonsensical in the past episode, but that is what several people in this thread use to describe that which they dont understand.

"I don't understand it, so it must be silly or nonsensical. I think I'll post a gif to show how silly or nonsensical the episode was. Or post a review of the episode that bashes the whole episode because nothing that I wanted to see happen in the episode happened."

I get branded a fanboy because I actually like the show. A badge I'll wear proudly with this group. I don't love everything the show does (I hated the Governor chasing Andrea episode), but I do try to focus on the positive aspects. They far out weigh the negative aspects.

This thread has become the brain dead posting about the walking dead. I thought there was a "Gentlemen's club" thread for those types of posts.

We get it, you love the show. Other's don't, or have issues with the show. Get over it already. There's more to life than getting feelings hurt on a daily basis about some ****ing TV show.

Tyreese went out the way i expected him to.Facing his demons and acceptance for who he is and wants to be.I think the scene was pretty good.

Im the kind of person who prefer character development more than single incidents so how he died doesn't matter unless it's completely stupid.
