Abraham should have a long beard as Rick man......sooo wrong. and michonne look horrible on Talking Dead. TWD must've some deprive effect on these actors to overly make-up themselves. they're type cast now, get used to it, hehe. like they're gonna play some glamorous role in a movie anytime now

well.. Michonne was never really famous before WD, I dont even know if she ever acted before. So even as type cast she would get more work than she did before...

Typecasting is not always a terrible thing, look at Danny Trejo, he is still going strong, even if he plays the same character over and over

Boris Karloff was once asked if it bother him being typecast in horror type roles and he said no because it meant he had steady work. Back then actors weren't getting back the ridiculous amounts they are now so it might not hold as true, but he was appreciative of the work he was getting and I think that's something a lot of actors could learn from.

there are a few actors that use typecasting to their advantage and have become big names because of it
jason statham, Vinnie Jones, they make it work

Much better action and intensity compared to the previous two episodes.
Glen and Michonne speaking their mind more was nice to see because it will set up the eventual flaw in their thinking and Rick saying,"I told you this was a bad idea!" and having him go bat ***** crazy... again. :lol

Yea, seems like the RV stopped before plowing through the zombies they were a little smarter and actually paying attention to the road. When they saw the flare go off they figured it was their people, not that the other dude was in trouble. Michonne even says that when she takes off from the car "That's how we'll find them - they'll think that was us!" or something to that effect.

I think if I was Rick or any of his group I would add "have you heard of Woodberry or Terminus?" to the questions. While they didn't owe Aaron an explanation someone should have said that the last group that invited them in put them on the menu. I was surprised that Rick just let everyone walk in there. Seems like the better play would have been for him and one or two others to go in and check the place out before bring in Carl and Judith. That way if things went south the group outside could pull a Terminus 2.0 to get them out. I guess Morgan will have to rescue them this time.

Would you have gone with Aaron?

I think I would be over trusting strangers after everything that they have been through. Why are Aaron and Eric out scouting for new people join them? Why do they need new people? Rick and the group never went out looking for more people, others came to them and they provided them with shelter. I would be wary about why this new group wants more people to be brought into their community.

Aaron and Eric might be completely above board, just like many the Woodbury community, however whoever is in charge may have their own secrets.

I'm surprised that Rick was really the only one being cautious. In their experience a community like this is bad news. First Woodbury, then Terminus (who became like that after they were brutally taken over by another group) and finally the hospital, who only took in the weak and were run by violent police. The odds are against them that this place is going to turn out any better.

Anyhow, if they can stay there for a bit, let's hope Rick and Daryl can have a haircut and decent shave because they're really looking like wild men lol.

To be fair, finding a place like this is why they are searching. It's a bit of a catch-22 - they're traveling to try to find someplace they can be safe, yet when they find a potential place, they're too afraid to join. They should be distrustful, but not so much that they ruin the chance to find people like them. It's a tough tight rope to walk, and I think the group is doing a pretty good job of trying to find that balance. Groups tend to do that better than individuals, and Rick and Michonne are balancing each other out right now - one too trusting, one not enough.

There's more to it than the new folks being crazy too - what if they just don't fit in any more? What if they've reached a point where being completely dependent on themselves and completely in control of their own destinies has made it impossible for them to be part of a community, even if that community isn't a bunch of cannibals?

It seems they all have access to a shaver except Rick. Glenn's face is smooooooth. And Abraham seems to be able to craft a handlebar moustache with what...his knife?

I dread to think about the women.....

Not sure Glenn is your best example. Asians don't grow a lot of facial hair. Abraham is a military guy ... probably accustomed to shaving in warzones with less-than-ideal shaving equipment.

Rick ought to keep the beard. It's getting respectable.

Rosita is pretty clean shaved, I mean, she is the pinnacle of Zombie Apocalypse bodyscaping based on her clothing. :lol

The problem with Rick's group is that eventually they stop becoming the group looking for help and start becoming the group that brings the trouble. They are obviously untrusting because of their experiences but it's that mistrust that eventually makes them unwanted because they bring drama. Plus they are so used to being self-sufficient that they now run the risk of trying to take over a place because they think they know better.

The problem with Rick is that eventually his brutality becomes so close the villains they fight off that the line can get blurred. Each villain they've faced thought they were working for the "greater good"...

His Snickers commercial is great! :lol

Robert Mitchum said acting was his job, it's not art. I love reading his quotes.

:lol That's something that you'll never see on TV. Hairy women. Rosita would be able to feel the breeze through her leg air by now.

I love how the discussion has shifted gears now to body hair. LOL!
I was thinking about this while watching the new episode too.

Everyone is right about Rick, Daryl, Glen, and Abraham. But what's up with Eugene? He's got a magic mullet. :lol

And the women?

The day they start airing episodes with hairy women... Peace out! :panic:
