I love how the discussion has shifted gears now to body hair. LOL!
I was thinking about this while watching the new episode too.

Everyone is right about Rick, Daryl, Glen, and Abraham. But what's up with Eugene? He's got a magic mullet. :lol

And the women?

The day they start airing episodes with hairy women... Peace out! :panic:

If you only knew. Are you married? :lol

Oh I know, but women can only blame themselves. They've trimmed, plucked, waxed, and shaved just about every square inch of their bodies. So now men have seen what it's like on the other side of the bushy plains and some of us like it. :)

Easy there, Tarzan, easy! :lol :wink1: :lol

To be fair, finding a place like this is why they are searching. It's a bit of a catch-22 - they're traveling to try to find someplace they can be safe, yet when they find a potential place, they're too afraid to join. They should be distrustful, but not so much that they ruin the chance to find people like them. It's a tough tight rope to walk, and I think the group is doing a pretty good job of trying to find that balance. Groups tend to do that better than individuals, and Rick and Michonne are balancing each other out right now - one too trusting, one not enough.

There's more to it than the new folks being crazy too - what if they just don't fit in any more? What if they've reached a point where being completely dependent on themselves and completely in control of their own destinies has made it impossible for them to be part of a community, even if that community isn't a bunch of cannibals?

I would Love... LOVE it if the reason they had to leave this new place is because the group is too jaded to be with nice people. It would be interesting and new having the group being paranoid of the new place, Looking for problems where there aren't any, seeing normal things as suspicious and finally leaving and we as an audience get to see that these were really really nice people and that Rick messed it up for everyone.

I know this might not be like the comics but it would be cool to see how it was Rick the one that ruins their future in this place and not some kind of Governor figure. It might not happen but it would certainly put a spin on things (everyone is expecting another Governor and the place ends up being really friendly)
