Yeah, kind of the TWD version of the ant/grasshopper relationship in A Bug's Life. We just haven't met the grasshoppers yet.

I also thought it was interesting that there are walker's with a "W" carved into them and in Alexandria people get stamped with an "A." Something definitely seems to be going on with the letters.

Now I'm wondering if the "Wolves" come to Alexandria every so often to claim the strongest members of the group to act as soldiers or warriors or something. That's why Alexandria always appears so weak to newcomers. It behooves the people of Alexandria to enlist new recruits to be claimed by the Wolves so that they don't start losing their own members who are very comfortable right where they are. Perhaps they send the videotapes (maybe via that girl who climbed the fence) to the Wolves so that the other group can review them and see if there's anyone they'd like to come and claim.

They did seem to really make a point to tell the audience that everyone raved about Rick on the videotapes.

Also the idiots who went out on a run with Glenn spoke of the four members they recently lost. Maybe those were "competent" warriors claimed by the Wolves. Also Aaron really wanted Daryl to replace his partner in going out on missions. Get other people to do the heavy lifting as quickly as possible because that's who are the Wolves are going to notice and want.

that girl is what kind of ties everything up, Im glad they decided to show her when she got out because it lets us think about all of this

she will most likely be the key to all of this

This might be a stretch, but what if the carvings on the walkers isn't "w" for wolves, but "m" for Morgan? That kind of swerve could keep readers of the comic guessing. This show is starting to make my head hurt the way Lost use too.

Morgan's nominally a good guy, right? Even though he lost his entire family to walkers, it doesn't seem like something he'd do. Good and bad people kill walkers, but only baddies mistreat/desecrate them.

True, but what made me think this is every time they have shown Morgan he has been associated with signs/symbols. They went out of their way to show him next to trees that had the symbols carved in them as well as other signs. Plus if I remember right he was spray painting the buildings of that town he was in with "clear" whenever he evicted all the walkers. Last time we saw him interact with other humans he was off the reservation. Who knows what his current state of mind is?

It definitely is - you can see he can't even keep up the facade the whole time. Watch when he snapped at her about getting a drink refill.

Isn't it obvious? He probably takes her for granted, is verbally abusive and is soft around the midsection. Rick is a lean, mean, fighting machine. The Dangerous Stranger persona is catnip to a bored housewife.

Morgan may indeed be bonkers, but the Wolves scenario seems much more plausible.

Can't see the two things being related. The Terminus group marked the trees so that they could find their way back, and Morgan followed them. From the church on, though, he's flying blind as all he has is the map with a route marked to Washington. Doesn't seem possible that he could be in the same spot as the group or that he'd be able mark that many walkers (and an upside down "M" seems silly). Looks more like the work of a group to me than one man.

Liked the show, but kinda too bad they're making Jessie's husband a d-bag. Would be more interesting if he was a good guy and Rick moves in his wife anyway, IMO.

I don't know if they'd jump into neegan so fast. They just got to Alexandria. Still plenty of time to fight among themselves which looks like it's coming.

the wolves could pretty much mean a rebrand of negan's group.lolz

I think it will be another group from the comics...I had totally forgotten about...

The Scavengers...Derek(their leader) even issues the line "Little pig, little pig let me in"

That's a possibility and certainly plausible.

Rick is such a hypocrite
Kills Shane because of his lady, then kicks out Carol for killing the infected people

Now he is going to make Alexandria his own at any cost lol

Rick didn't kill Shane because of Lori and he can't "steal" someone's lady. She either goes with Rick or not. It's her choice.
