Thank you so much..I actually have the first season on blu-ray. Don't have cable or anything though..It's available to rent or stream from Netflix. Also season two's premiere episode is free to watch at AMC's website at www.amctv.com. Check them out. Be sure to watch them all in order. Incredible show! Easily one of my top favorites!
Read the comics and ye shall know all...cause that's what I did.
If you watch the previews, when Rick is carrying his son, Hershel ask him if his son is bit. Rick says no, shot, by your man.Not Merle. Maybe one of Herchel's sons?
The show is not staying completely true to the comic so I don't know how you can use the comic as a basis.
Comics information isn't true spoilers anyway - they aren't staying true to the comics, so they only give a possible scenario. They might be a more likely scenario than something someone pulls out of their butt, but they aren't true spoilers for the show.
The person shooting Carl didn't intend it. They were shooting the deer and the bullet hit Carl after passing through, clearly an accident. It will obviously be someone from Herchel's farm who was out hunting, and they take them back there immediately to get help.
It would be interesting though if they get to Herschel's and Merle is there - what a reunion!
Since clearly the information you just posted is in BOTH the comics and the TV show, how about NOT being an ass and post it somewhere else?
Nothing he said in his post was a spoiler unless you count previews of the next episode which aired after the first episode "spoilers". In the previews they talk about someone with Herschel shooting Carl, which really isn't a spoiler if those previews show that.
Merle isn't even in the comic book.....stay out of the thread to avoid spoilers or at least stop attacking people when they clearly are not spoiling anything.
Keep the comic spoilers out of this thread. I clicked a spoiler thinking "I have seen the latest episode" only to read about something from the comic. Start your own damn thread if you wanna discuss the comics.

The comic started in 2003....how effin long are things from the comic considered spoiler material?
What Mike posted is an obvious assumption anyone with half a brain would have made from watching the last episode and the preview for next week.
If it bothers you so much, there are other threads you can go b itch in.

Obviously just an assumption since he mentions the family's name in his post. Quit being lazy ____ heads and post with a bit more thoughtfulness.
