I've enjoyed it most when they're living somewhere longterm. The wandering is what bores me. It's not like they ever really show you anything new when they're doing that - it's always just backroads, forests, sheds etc etc.

If I think a show has poor writing I certainly don't watch it week In and week out and I certainly don't play armchair critique on said show week in and week out. But everyone should have a hobby, I guess.

My hobby is watching great shows dip into mediocrity then continue watching them while hoping they get better. This show has had its fair share of dips. Just because someone criticizes it doesn't mean they're not rooting for it. It just means that they won't give praise to every episode regardless of actual quality.

Agreed. The farm and prison and now Alexandria are far more interesting than walking down train lines...endless train lines.

I've never known a show where when it's boring it's suoer boring but when it's good its gripping. The finale was great - it had all the suspense of the season 2 ending which has been my favourite so far.

I just had a season 5 marathon to catch up yesterday from episode 1 and just finished watching episode 16 just now and I gotta say, this show is getting better and better!

Cant wait for season 6

What did Gimple or Kirkman say about the finale? Do you have a link? I know that Reedus made a comment about getting your tissues ready and Hurd said on Talking Dead that blood would be spilled and not all of it would be Walker blood (which was true), but other than that I didn't hear too much hype about the finale - at least not from the people you mention.

I never said they did say anything aboit the finale. I was speaking about those 2 in general. I guess I don't need to hear anything from the producers or Kirkman because they can't say anything of value anyways because they don't want to spoil anything which is great. Now Reedus and Hurd trolled us hard. My comments were made about them with pure emotion and not enough time to think. Sometimes I just ramble on without putting much thought into it.

I didn't like it at first because of the so called "super fan" celebrities they had on, but now I like it more.

I'm not a fan or hater of Talking Dead, it's just part of my routine now on Sunday nights. Walking Dead, Talking Dead, Comic Book Men.
