He has a mentality that its living vs dead and thats gonna get him and everybody else he's responsible for killed.

I disagree.

I think Rick's mentality has kept the group alive more times than not and he'll continue to do so because the group trusts him.

What? Rick has been saying that the living are more dangerous than the dead for the last three seasons now. He has mistrusted or killed just about every outsider since they arrived at the prison in Season 3.

He hasn't had that mentality since he went Raylan Givens on those two gunslingers in the bar in Season 2. Randall. Shane. The Governor. The Cannibals. The Hospital. Porchdick. He's suspicious of everybody -- he kept Morgan in a holding cell, originally threw Tyreese out, held the preacher at gunpoint, was suspicious of Michonne, and even Andrea when she came back for a couple of minutes. He very nearly blew Ethan Embry's head off last episode. He's had to have others -- Dale, Hershel, Tyreese, Morgan -- talk him down from overreacting to human 'threats' several times. Have you missed everything from the middle of Season 2 onward?

What do you think he meant when he said "I don't take chances anymore". He wasn't talking about walkers ... he was talking about people.

LOL, sharing this.

Did anyone notice that the brand of cigarettes Carol was going to smoke, Morleys, was the same fictitious brand used on X-Files? Thought that was a cool nod. And if anyone deserved a smoke after tonight's episode, it was her.

What a tense episode. I'm hoping Morgan finally realized at the end that his all holy, Shaolin Monk mind set just will not fly and could defn be the death of him if he doesn't accept the way things are. I kind of get the sense that in the end of the episode, while walking past Carol that he sees that killing IS necessary. I'm hoping it's not as predictable as it would seem that the guy Morgan let live and take the gun, ends up killing off someone I like. I just could never fathom letting those psychos go.

This episode rocked!
Absolutely loved Carol's role. When she kneeled down, over that dead body, and while talking to Morgan, she dabbed her finger on the victim's blood and put the 'W' on her forehead.... I said to myself, "Damn! Carol is like Dutch from Predator! She's b@d@ss!" :rock

The body count was pretty high in this episode for Alexandrians and Wolves, but since the Wolves staged and planned this attack (clearly evidenced by the photographs Aaron found), you would think that they would go all in. All capable members with their best weapons. What I'm trying to get at is, their numbers should be very low now. They should no longer be a significant threat, however a few did get away (thanks for that Morgan! :slap), and one even saw the armory. Carol shot him a couple times in the back but he was able to take off. So he's got some valuable intel to share if he ever makes it.
