Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

another excellent episode. nothing much happens in the way of plot development, but just plain gripping human drama. andrea is still annoying, but at least this time her reaction was understandable. great performance by andrew lincoln. can see his character really starting to break down. and shane is beginning to look more and more like a genuine hero.

i wonder why the guys didn't save some flares for their exit. that might've helped distract the walkers again.

btw, took the personality test thing. apparently, i'm a natural leader. :D

Re: your spoiler. Because that would have been the smart and logical thing to do!

Another enjoyable episode. Wow. Weren't they lucky the man who shot Carl just happened to be staying with the only physician around. J/K

As far as Shane and Otis, Shane should give his stuff to Otis, then have Shane distract all the zombies away from the truck (since Shane is fit enough to outrun the zombies). Then Otis can go get the truck and double back to pick up Shane at a designated field or something. But I know it's going to be like everyone's been saying: Otis sacrifices himself.

Hershall's a vet, not a physician.

Rick touched on that when he was drawing the zombies away from Sophia. He told her that he would get tired where the zombies won't. Unless Shane is a world class marathon runner, he would not be able to outrun the zombies. Especially with the way they are being portrayed now.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

A vet can be considered a physician, can't he? Just a broader term?

At least they didn't go all out with making Hershall a celebrated big city retired trauma surgeon or something like that!

For animals, yes. Humans, no. :lol

Though, if I were in the same position, I wouldn't be _____ing at all. A vet is better than some bum with a scalpel. :lol

Ahhh! Takes me back to my X-Files days (1996)

:hi5:

I really like this episode. Best line was Daryl saying, "shut up" and then thwack! :lol

My only recommendation to AMC is to please add more commercials. :slap

Great episode!
Very tense moments and a scary cliffhanger! :horror

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Great news! All it took was seeing the ratings for 2 episode airings? Crazy.

Although the networks also cancel shows based on the numbers from 2 airings, and sometimes even 1 airing.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I think I remember seeing in the SDCC preview, Shane running backwards shooting his rifle at the walkers while holding a duffle bag.....so maybe Otis does go and get the truck. I doubt it. The way him and his wife said good bye you kinda knew it would be the last time they would see each other.
