Exactly, which makes me think this should be the final season, they extended it long enough.

There are still plenty of people who enjoy it. You could always stop watching until they announce the final season then watch the last couple of episodes. I've done that with other series. :lol

The big problem right now....is editing and Gimbles idea of action......which amounts to shots of people shooting guns for 15 minutes....

True. These episodes have maybe suffered from having no on-screen build-up to this particular mission they've been on. It just went straight into it from the start pretty much. We've had to figure out what they're trying to do along the way and thus all the gunfire is distracting more than exciting.

And as always the pacing has sucked since season 3

As a fan I still feel it's a lack of good characters too. It's fine killing off fan favourites but they have never been replaced properly. Drop some of those dead characters into the War mix, like Shane/Abraham/Glenn etc and it gives you something to root for.

Add to that Michonne, Rosita and Carl haven't been seen since that one scene in episode 1. What we've been left with is a lot of background characters getting put front and centre.

This was a better episode than the other two, but that's not saying much. I really do hope this war ends at mid season finale, and then something at least somewhat new story for the second half.

True. The only characters I have really cared about whether they die or not in these last couple of episodes are Rick, Daryl and Carol. Eric died...does anyone really care that much? I also don't really think Rosita and Tara have become fan favourites since their appearance, unlike Abraham.

They are just trying to be way to Artistic with it, really getting on my nerves now.

Well said....

Looking to top that episode where Tyrone dies.

That was good....but every episode does not need to be a Emmy nominee.

Ezekiel's stuff was good. The rest was crap. They really suck at shoot-outs. Infinite ammo! No broken windows. Bullets bouncing off metal they should punch through. The car chase was bad. Here comes Daryl and Rick with their plot armor! Do they have twelve year olds making this show?

Artistic? I think it's been lazy and half-assed.

The jeep/motorcycle scene is akin to some straight-to-DVD Bollyood action film.

Why does this show look so low budget now? Lighting, composition, action!! Are the actors asking for too much per episode that they have to cut production cost?

Tiger clearly too expensive so they had to kill her off so early on in the season. Was a really lame way to go too.
