I guess I'm just not seeing that he's so attractive. I think his hair looks oiled down and stringy. Besides, gay men are always cleaner, at least on tv.
As for Daryl, Norman looks like that all the time. It's his "look". They even sniffed him on The Talking Dead and said he smelled really good. Wouldn't hurt him any to use Zombie Juice hair care products.

I have liked the new season a lot so far, even still there are many things that could easily have been made better. In general, there has been a lot of action for those wishing more in last season, and also drama moments that are nice. I have so far liked it better than the seventh season, as it was so miserable and everything was so difficult for the characters. Now I enjoy to see them being hopeful, doing things together, and that we see multiple characters in the same episode.
He is cute and it´s nice to have some cute guys around in tv series, too. I pay more attention to his beautiful eyes than the hair though. For me Carl´s hair is more annoying than his, as Carl looks always like he is taken from a shampoo advertisement. Not even Enid has such dreamy mass of shiny pretty hair, really!
And I like his look a lot.

I don't think this show will ever really blow me away anymore - the novelty of a zombie TV show is long gone and the scenarios are repetitive by now. The best it can probably do is continue to be watchable entertainment. I thought the most recent one was decent enough.

I suppose in this point of time any series isn´t what it was in the beginning. I don´t remember any tv show that would have been blowing me away in 8th season... It´s more about the fun seeing familiar characters in new situations. (And not always even so new...)

Exactly, which makes me think this should be the final season, they extended it long enough.
The big problem right now....is editing and Gimbles idea of action......which amounts to shots of people shooting guns for 15 minutes....
And as always the pacing has sucked since season 3
