Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I kinda get the feeling that with what Carol told Daryl being there more for Sophia than her own father, it won't be a dream. I think it was to help build Daryl's character aswell as a way to tug at audience heartstrings so when it is finally revealed she's dead, it will have more impact. I'm betting they're setting up Sophia being dead as a major emotional turning point for the entire group and I think we'll probably see Carol bite the dust soon.

Or, maybe the sex reference is Carol and Daryl getting down to some dirty, homeless hillbilly sex. He could even gift her that ear necklace. If that's the case, I'm not sure which is grosser, the hillbilly ho-down, or the geriatric bronco busting.

I'd totally tap Carol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

^ If the show goes there...that would give that certain character...some character. That person might grow. Become vengeful. Maybe become a great zombie hunter.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

The two people having sex for the first time would refer to Dale and Andrea, if they follow the book which they haven't always done. Carol and Daryl is also a possibility but I hope they don't go there. I guess Daryl could be the Tyrese character in the comic.

I am going to go out on a limb and say the two people who have sex are Shane and Andrea. There has been some simmering emotions between them and maybe Lori shuns Shane and he turns to Andrea and confesses his relationship with Lori to her and then they start bumping uglies.

Problem with that. She already knows. Even if she hadn't known since the beginning (which she has), she stumbled upon Shane and Lori having their little lovers' quarrel at the church. Even a deaf, blind mute could figure it out. So Shane wouldn't be confessing much of anything.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Oh and I found this...guess it came from IMDB. HUGE SPOILERS. MEGA HUGE....

SOPHIEA BECOMES A ZOMBIE! OH thank GOD! I'm so glad she's gonna be dead. Now that stupid girl ended up paying for her stupidity! I love this show! It's smart, and has balls!! Maybe this will get rid of the mom too! The proof is on IMDB. I'd post the pic, but I dont want anyone to get in trouble. Just in case.

:panic::monkey1

Might be a dream sequence? You never know with the show. /o/

If it winds up she is, Hershall's acquisition will be one hell of an interesting explanation.

First off... it's a bit annoying to have all these spoiler boxes. But oh well... Secondly, if that spoiler Celtic Predator posted is true...

That's pretty extreme premature killing. Considering Sophia is still around currently in the comics.
It wouldn't be a bad idea for a dream. But knowing this show is probably going to get with the shocks and killings soon, I can see it actually happening.

Sophia really plays no important part in the comics. She's essentially there to make Maggie/Glenn feel like parents once Carol is killed, and to be a "girlfriend" to Carl. She's cannon fodder. So, it won't bother me to see her killed.
The Sophia missing storyline is boring me to death. It's gone on for far too long. When they find her, she better be holed up with a stock pile of food and guns. Otherwise I will climb into that world myself and beat her over the head with a trout for being an idiot.

And for a few minutes in this past TWD episode, I hated Andrea quite a lot for shooting Daryl. Now I just like her a little less for not following directions. Lucky she's not a killer shot yet. :lol I'm happy Daryl is alright for the time being, he's grown to be one of my favorite characters.

So what does that make Rick?? :rotfl:rotfl

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

This crowd sure is tough on Carol. What did she ever really do to anyone?? I don't get the hostility.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I read the cheat sheet on IMDB re next week's hookup. Hint: it's a T Dawg sandwich.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I personally like Carol. She doesn't have a false sense of importance. She doesn't have some great journey to undergo. She is a normal person.

Kirkman's already addressed that and he seemed a little embarrassed about it. :lol

i.e. zombie bait. :lecture:lecture:lecture :exactly:

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I had my episode marathon and I'm all caught up. Maggie is pretty fine. Andrea is still annoying me.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

They could have easily gone into her story- her abusive marraige to an ignorant hillbilly, that same hillbilly touching their daughter. They just don't have time to give everyone a major story thread.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Wow if Sophiea is really a walker Daryl is going to be so pissed all that time spent looking :lol He really wanted to find her I guess he did.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I'm hoping Sophia is not a zombie, but it makes sense.

After last week with Carol teling Darryl he's done more for her than her dad did, it's gonna be a big heart yanker when they see her as a zombie.

I don't think Herschel has a lot to explain, it's possible it hasn't even dawned on him that she is from their camp, considering how many people have become zombies.

I don't think he'd have known, other than they found a little girl zombie. But him keeping that tidbit a secret, especially with them continually bringing up looking for Carol's little girl, could be an even bigger catalyst than a barn full of walkers mere yards away from where Rick and co. are sleeping outside.
