How great is it that the opening of the FIRST episode showcases just how unafraid AMC is to do this right? Headshot to a little girl... can't get much more taboo than that as far as TV violence.

The scenes with the bicycle zombie and Morgan's wife were just heart-wrenching.

I agree with wofford. Best episode of TV I've seen in a good while.

I'm surprised how gruesome it was, I haven't seen Zombies on film this unabashed like ever.

I loved it, it's so well done. This has heart to it, instead of feeling only fear you feel sympathy for the infected. They acknowledge that they were once people and still kind of are, only infected. Thus they let you accept. Too many zombie films lately use zombies as just another brain to whack and play the same old tired game.

I've never seen something like this delve that deep into who they were before on such a level.

Very fun show....I like the fact that the episode was an hour and a half with scarce commercials. Almost felt like a mini-movie. Will all the episodes be an hour and a half or is it just the premiere that is this long?
