Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Horse____.

Spend some time in Afghanistan, Iran or Syria and get back to me when you get back.

I'm not going do the metaphor game, "if you have a thing..ect" but it ceased to be his family the moment Rick came back.

He unfortunately grew accustomed to them, well...the rest is history.

I agree. But Lori had a HUGE part to play in that. The whole thing could've been handled a hell of a lot better.

The whole show could have. But behind the scenes nonsense totally ____ed it over.

Yeah, you're talking about them being overly vocal about Darabont. It is what it is and there're consequences for actions like that. That old adage, "don't bite the hand that feeds you" or the more blunt, "Don't ____ where you eat" comes to mind. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

"Quit being a ******" =/= "You're acting like a ******"

Basic English comprehension. One identifies the individual as a ****** while the other implies behavior. In either case, you still violated forum rules because you couldn't develop a counter argument to the post you quoted and by your own admission, felt "stupid." I fail to see how that's my fault. Do you often blame others for your own shortcomings?
My last post on the matter with you. If I get an infraction, locked, or God forbid banned then so be it. I'm not mincing words, I don't care if you take it as identifying or implying. It's quite simple, stop acting or being a ******. Second, I don't feel "stupid" nor do I feel like what I post is "stupid". What I mean to imply and what I posted is I get tired of YOU trying to make people feel stupid. There is a difference. Lets just say I decided to say something for those who don't. Respond, don't respond, makes no difference to me as I am done.

So do you often...
So how about that Walking Dead huh? :wink1:

...blatantly show disrespect for moderators when they ask you to drop a subject and move on? I'll admit, Josh's post was subtle, but even a lowbrow could grasp it's meaning, right?

If it makes you feel better, I'm sorry you felt like an idiot and compelled to call me names, after reading my post which merely stated the obvious. :huh

The whole thing. From killing the budget, to firing Frank...it was all so stupid.

I don't blame any cast member for being vocal. You get cast, and work with this man. He pretty much guided you through this, and then he's gone. Just like that. I'd be pissed as hell too. What I blame is AMC doing what it did.

Consequences, and all that. But did AMC really expect that it would be just OK for everyone to know that the guy who pretty much got this show running was fired 3 days after he was helping promote the show? That's shady. And wrong.

Well, I agree with Darabont in that AMC was cutting the budget on their #1 show which makes no sense. You should, as a business, increase the ad spot for advertisers. But in the end, you just don't ____ where you eat. And when you do, and get fired as a result, well, whose fault is it? You can't blame AMC. And honestly, look at the last several dozens of pages of geek speak. I'd say with or without Darabont, AMC's doing just fine. :lol

Yet it still drawls a record setting audience. That, being the only real thing AMC cares about. If people are/were as upset as you are, you would think it would show in ratings. But, the show must go on.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Sure. But it's still all silly stuff, and I found it to be very disheartening.

The politics of the entertainment industry are strange, and often vile. They lack all sense of humanity, and respect.

Most people really don't give a ____, let alone know. It's not broadcasted for the general public to see. Well, it is, but most people don't care about anything like that. They care more about who Andrew Lincoln is ____ing, or where he's eating then what happened to Frank Dara...who?

Which is the reason I found that Mad Men promo so insulting and cruel.

So imagine how bad government politics have to be for Arnold Schwarzenegger to prefer them to furthering a political career. :lol

Yup, probably one of the only industries that asks for a picture with your resume, even when you're applying to be a crew PA.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

^ I'd rather not. :lol

At least movie politics is all petty, and isn't all that serious unless you're in the heart of it. Doesn't evoke a response filled with death threats. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Give me a ____ing break Ghandi.

It's pretty easy to assume something from the comfort of a living room couch with a beer in your hand. An entirely different story when you've actually been in a hostile environment more threatening than a simple risk of mugging. :huh

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Earlier on in the season (this half, I believe) they hinted at the possibility of an airborne virus strain. My thoughts are the one carried by zombies and transferred directly into the blood via bite wound is more powerful. If the victim is killed in the attack, they'll turn sooner. If the victim survives, like Amy did, it'll take longer.
The airborne strain is a different story; same virus, but I think it's weaker since it's not as direct. Everyone has it, but their being alive makes it easier for the body to fight off the effects -- or at least delay them. A dead body, on the other hand... no active defenses, nothing.

Looking forward to the next episode, though. With all the emotional subplots taken care of in this one, that leaves nothing but all-out zombie war for the finale. It'll be the first popcorn episode of the season! :rock
