Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Originally there was some sort of window, but I thought we got rid of that? It's simply silly, and causes the exact problem Deckard had - you can't tell whether something is a spoiler any more or not. The rule needs to be simple to avoid confusion - if you haven't seen the episode, don't read the thread! That way anything that's in spoiler tags is something potentially about an upcoming episode.

I couldn't agree more, but it's not my board. :hi5:

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

IMHO Realistically it should just be an open thread, spoilers or not, the show varies from the comic quite a bit so even what is posted may or may not occur. If you haven't caught up or don't want to see it then don't click on the thread :dunno

I hadn't caught up until last night so I didn't bother coming in until then.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Funny thing about the promo's and even the teasers - they are almost always designed to mislead as well. Who can forget Daryl saying "Sorry brother" and all the speculation that led to! :D

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

The funny thing is that Darryl is my favorite character on the show even though he

doesn't appear in the comics.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I love the potential that Rick and Daryl's relationship has - when Rick asked him if he was good with letting Randall go, Daryl's response was perfect.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

^Agreed. Daryl's character is written and acted so well. His BS detector is always on the money.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Yet. He's coming.

Reedus keeps saying so but nothing has been confirmed. We've probably all seen this though hoping so:

:nono There was a cover posted pages ago. It's happening! :lecture:lecture:lecture :exactly:

"I don't see us trading haymakers on the side of the road over it."

There's nothing better than redneck phrasing.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

From some other forums I read:

Please debate: Lori - Worse Mother or Wife?

I wonder what dumb--- decisions this unlikeable pack of -------- idiots will make tonight?

---- you, Lori

So is lori the worst mother of the zombie apocalypse, or just the worst mother of all time?

T-Dog was a scene stealer tonight with his eloquent dialogue.

Lets not forget that Carl also seems to be able to carry a gun around all the time too and not get caught with that, even when it's some huge hand cannon for a kid his size..
Then again maybe she is the BEST mother of all time and Carl has super ninja like skills and will go on to become the John Connor of the zombie robot wars!!

Yes, apparently Carl went back to the bog and retrieved the gun. Then he gave it to Shane and explained what happened. Shane tried to get Carl to keep the gun--Daryl's gun! Carl refused and said to give it back to Daryl. Shane went to Rick and told him what Carl had said about the walker, and then Shane handed the gun to Rick and said, "You should get that back to Daryl." Rick then gives Daryl's gun to Carl! Daryl even says something to T-Dog about how he can't find his gun. What a bunch of ___holes!

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Interesting interview question about Frank Darabont, asked to Jon Bernthal:

EW: You’re obviously very close to Frank Darabont and were quite candid about how upset you were when he was forced out. So naturally that begs the question: Did you ask to be written out of the show?

Bernthal: You know, no. I did not. This was always the plan. This was always the plan that this was going to do down this way. [However] when Frank left, there were some discussions that it was going to go a different way. One of the things I was really, really looking forward to is Frank always said he was going to write and direct our last scene — the last scene Andy and I would play together. And I’ll be honest: It brought all those feelings back up because at the end of the day, this thing started with Andy, Frank, and I. Frank continues, I know, to live in Andy’s heart, as he does in mine, and I think that he was sort of there in that last scene. The fact that now I get to go work with him again [on TNT’s upcoming "L.A. Noir"] is something I’m just tremendously excited about.

As great as the show has been, I really do miss Frank being the showrunner. I still think the show would be even better if Frank was still there.

I wish one day he and AMC could kiss and make up, and Frank could direct/write an episode or two. But I don't think that is ever going to happen. :(

The first episode of Season 1 is the greatest Television episode I have ever seen. It's a ____ing movie, it's amazing.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Just watched the episode and wow, it was amazing, can't wait for the finale.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

:lol I've said it and I'll say it again, I hope Carl shoots Lori. Or Andrea shoots Lori. Or Andrea is teaching Carl how to shoot Shane style and they both shoot her togeather by accident. She's a terrible wife, worse mother, and all around poor human being.
