Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Yea, you women ruin everything.

Scarface
Goodfellas
Blow
Casino
The Departed

I think the message particularly Martin Scorsese seems to want to convey is if your powerful, don't get married. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

This is where your theory falls flat. At any point, Shane could've put Rick down, at any point while they were walking around for what seemed like hours. He didn't. Not because he couldn't, but because he never intended to. :wink1:

Didn't Rick always walk BEHIND Shane while they were in the woods?

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

He did until he questioned him about the gun. Shane paused, Rick spoke and then took the front. Before that Rick was either side by side or behind.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I gathered that Rick figured out early on what was up, you could tell by his body language, at that point I think he figured it's going to happen let's see if Shane will shoot me in the back.

Both characters played that scene out really conflicted, both seemingly aware of the situation but both unsure of how they wanted to proceed.

:nono They better not pull a Dallas.

Could be because Amy was bit and Shane wasn't?

It was already explained by Jenner at the CDC that there's no predetermined turn time.

I think I remember the CDC guy saying reanimation can occur in minutes or in hours.

Maybe the airborne virus hadn't taken hold yet when Amy got her head blown off ... so she was reacting to the bite only, which took time to get through her body. The airborne thing -- assuming that's what happened -- was already in Shane's system.

Or, maybe there is no technical explanation ... and Shane just happened to be faster because it was convenient for the plot. Heh.

Yeah it's always a huge middle finger when they do that :slap

Sopranos probably would have been my favorite show of all time if they hadn't wasted a season on coma dreams. Could not feel like more of a cheap gimmick to make money.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Watched it finally.

Episode just gone -
Damn what if Shane was swayed by Rick at the last and decided he couldn't shoot an unarmed, former best friend. I guess Rick had a pretty strong feeling Shane was completely untrustable at that point

And I wonder in what way, if any, did Lori's apology play a part in making Shane decide that today was the decisive day - and did he really feel it was necessary to kill Rick that day in particular - did he assume that in defying Rick by killing Randall he would be provoking a fatal confrontation anyway? Why not kill Randall and then see how Rick takes it?

Most likely this. Although I think the longer someone is alive in this world, the more whatever virus they contract is cycling through their systems and therefore faster changes. Randall turn wasn't all that long either.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Imo Sunday's episode will be similar to the ending of season 1's "Vatos" episode. (S1: E4)

A Mexican standoff with Mexicans that hijacked a nursing home? I could see it happening. Heh.
