Season 2 was merely watchable most of the time imo, big step down from season 1. It's a pity things went the way they did with Darabont.
Season 2 was a nightmare to watch, one episode, wait 7 days, another episode, not much happening, wait another 7 days, then mid season break etc.
Thats why alot of people didnt like season 2. Now, if you go and buy the blu ray/DVD and watch at least 2-3 episodes at a time, its a million times better. it flows from one to the other, just like the comic book story does.
Like, episode 3 to episode 7 you need to watch back to back. Its such a flowing continual story. The problem is, it took what, 4 months from start to finish, including the mid season breakto go through the 12 episodes?
Well 4 months in reality, but its only what, literally just two weeks in TWD's time frame isn't it? They arent on the farm for long, but it feels dragged out because its one episode a week over 15-16 weeks. Thats why it felt so long, and thats why you NEED to watch episodes in blocks back to back and then you appreciate the flow of the actual story. it annoyed me abit watching, but I made sure I watched it.
Its like the comics, I hate waiting for one every month or so, and I wait until they are out in the volume because the wait is infuriating, I dont mind being drip fed story but 6 issues is what, every 3-4 weeks? Its just too long. Like the videogame as well lmao, too long between episodes!
