Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I don't understand the need for some to defend the show as if they wrote, directed, produced or starred in it, like it's a personal insult if it doesn't get 100% praise. It's ok if some people don't like it sometimes. Or hell, maybe it's not apparently? :dunno

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I think Mister Ski was trying to say for anyone claiming Season 2 was unwatchable that the ratings would indicate otherwise. It just came out weird. :lol

yeah,:lol that's what i thought he meant...then all the comments had me confused:dunno

It's your opinion. I don't have a problem with it.

I liked season 2 but I've said before (and I still feel the same) nothing in the second season has come close to topping the first episode of the series written and directed by Darabont.

It's a discussion board. Does that not include the discussion of opinions? :dunno

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

IF you Watch the Complete Deleted Scenes from Season 2, you can see what shape that season was taking, A lot better in my opinion,
the Deleted Scenes before Darabont Left are Much better than the Entire second season

This Was better, than what we saw in Season 2!
(Except for the ending)

Thing that strikes me as something maybe they didnt want, was the old folks home story in that Daryll realised everyone was executed. That to me, screamed possibly woodbury. Combine that with the guys at the bar, that too couldve been some of Governors large group.

THEN, youve got the fact that, why didnt they come back as zombies after they were shot in the head? It would've ruined the CDC/Jenner think that was going on for most of the season which we all figured out a long time before.

That said, it wouldve been an utterly brilliant opening, and more to the point, it showed Shane more humanly as opposed to the psycho-**** they should never have turned him into, THEN you also have Carl assuring Sophia, which I thought was great because it shows him moulding like his dad into a leadership role, into being calm and adapting to the world, just like when he says 'no we shouldnt give up looking for sophia', didnt he also say he wouldve done the same as rick and shoot her? Or was I just dreaming that?

But yeah, there was more characterisation in those deleted scenes than in the first half of season 2 for carl and Daryll.

The first season was missing Maggie with her cowboy hat on.

The second season was missing Rick put a bullet into Carls head.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

It's irony. People get chaffed because others don't agree with their opinions, yet that's exactly what they're doing. :lol

So true! :lol

Some people think their opinions are fact and should be treated as gospel. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

AMC quietly confirms there's gonna be a 4th season of Walking Dead

There's a long road ahead for AMC's The Walking Dead. Next month, the zombie hit returns for its third season, and the network currently has its eyes on a fourth. But they've indirectly confirmed what most us all already suspected.

The Walking Dead is working with the American Red Cross for an upcoming blood drive. The network announced the partnership (on TWD official blog), while inadvertently breaking some major news. The Walking Dead has been renewed for a fourth season.
Here's the original entry:
Just because the walkers are mindless flesh-eaters doesn't mean you have to be so inconsiderate. AMC and The Walking Dead are joining forces with the American Red Cross for a nationwide blood drive that, aside from being a great way to show your humanity, also might win you a 3-day, 2-night trip to the Season 4 production of The Walking Dead in 2013.
We've never seen such a bright future for such a grim show. The Walking Dead is AMC's highest-rated program, why wouldn't they keep it around? The arrival of Michonne and the Governor, will probably rope in even more viewers. It's a smart move on their part.
The Walking Dead season three premieres Oct. 14.
